What Customers Are Saying
The tile cutter performs well for cutting smaller, thinner ceramic tiles, allowing for clean, straight cuts. Many users found it easy to use, especially for beginners. However, it struggles with larger, thicker porcelain tiles, often cracking or breaking the tiles, especially when making longer cuts. The scoring blade also wears down quickly on porcelain. Overall, the tile cutter is best suited for smaller ceramic tiles, but not recommended for larger or thicker porcelain tiles.

Would RecommendI got this to use on a shower project with ceramic tile. I have a wet saw, but since most of the cuts were simple straight cuts, I got this to save time and prevent making as much of a mess. This came out of the box and was ready to go with no assembly required. This saved me a TON of time!
Tile cutter
Would Not RecommendI used this cutter for a small job and took it back after 4 cuts and 3 broke. Save your money and time would not buy one again
Needs shaper center so tile brakes easier.
Would RecommendThe center break is to rounded . It doesn't allow the tile to break evenly.needs to be sharper.
broke tiles
Would Not Recommendwe are seasoned tilers, however this tool broke too many of the large tiles we needed. Ended up using grinder. This may work better on small tile pieces
Does small jobs
Would RecommendBought this to cover a small laundry room tile project (under 60 sq ft). While item was adequate, i broke several tiles as it couldnt handle the longer cuts. Finally had to have Lowes staff cut last 5 tiles for me. If you have budget, spring for the 24" cutter over the 20".

Great Tile Cutter
Would RecommendNeeding a tile cutter in the worst kind of way, I was about to spend over a hundred dollars to meet my need, then while in the store I came across this cutter, after carefully inspecting the construction and ease of operation, and at an amazingly affordable price I couldn't say no to purchasing this over the hundred dollar one. Brought it home and put it to work right away, and was amazed at the increditable accurate cut it produced, needless to say, I was one happy camper for buying this pro...

Sound Purchase
Would RecommendI had a number of 6 x 6 ceramic tiles to cut and started my project using a Skil 7inch wet saw that cuts well, but time consuming and messy to deal with. So, I decided to try this and am glad I did! It's quick and easy to use and no great mess to clean up. The instructions indicate the narrowest cut at 1in, but I've cut several tile at 3/4 in. with no problem. I highly recommend giving it a shot.

Junk
Would Not RecommendBroke the first time we used it just out of the box .The breaker arm snapped in two, when I snapped the very first tile. It was made of cast aluminum & full of air pockets..So headed back to Lowes which is 50 miles away I might add , to get the 99.$ one hopefully it will do better can't do any worse. .
I have never done this in my life. This was so easy I couldn't believe it. The score and snap made very smooth and straight edges. Extremely satisfied. Just the sound of the score and the snap was satisfying.
Good for my ceramic tiles
Would RecommendThis worked great on my 3x6 tiles. I did a 1.5 ft x 15 foot back splash and it was a champ. This is the $30.00 one. The cheaper one flexes to much.

Excellent value for the price.
Would RecommendChecked it out on line, then went to the store to purchase. Just had a few tiles to cut for a bathroom floor repair. Did not want to use my electric cutter. This cutter worked very well and is much faster and a whole lot less trouble then the electric cutter. You do have to make sure that the scrib is well done to insure the tile breaks on the line.
Not for Porcelain
Would Not RecommendI purchased the 20" Tile Cutter to make a few cuts after my wet saw bit the dust. I was not able to make a single cut using it. Keep in mind that i was using a thicker piece of 6"x18" Porcelain Tile for my project. I am not able to give it a good review on this reason alone. I read the box and it said it was for ceramic but did not exclude porcelain so i tried it out. I would recommend purchasing/renting wet saw for a big project.

better to spend more for saw
Would Not RecommendNeed it for 16"x16" ceramic floor tile for kitchen. Was good for larger cuts, but not for trimming off smaller pieces for room perimeter cuts needed. It just couldn't scour deeply enough to break easily. So I'm going to return it and get a wet blade saw which I hope will both save time and incorrect breakage which is causing undesirable waste. I probably should add that I'm a newbie at doing tile..

doesnt break evenly..at all
Would Not RecommendDo not bother with this product. I went through a whole box of tile just trying to cut 3 pieces. Tried scoring soft, hard, 1 pass, multiple passes, didn't matter. Does not break anywhere near clean.

Great Invention!
Would RecommendI never attempted tile patching or repairs because I thought they still had to be cut with a power saw. This is the easiest, most foolproof machine!
