What Customers Are Saying
The tile cutter performs well for cutting smaller, thinner ceramic tiles, allowing for clean, straight cuts. Many users found it easy to use, especially for beginners. However, it struggles with larger, thicker porcelain tiles, often cracking or breaking the tiles, especially when making longer cuts. The scoring blade also wears down quickly on porcelain. Overall, the tile cutter is best suited for smaller ceramic tiles, but not recommended for larger or thicker porcelain tiles.

Snap cutter
Would RecommendBar has a tendency to skip instead of glide, otherwise, gets the job done.

Its convenient to take it to different job sites, but to cut tiles at angles is kinda, also the material of this cutter is flimsy

Did not work for me
Would Not RecommendI bought this to cut laminate flooring. It came up when I searched for "laminate cutter", so I assumed it could do the job. I could not figure out how this thing is supposed to be able to cut laminate. It only has two little wheels that score the surface. I can't say if it was the tool or operator error, but I found a skill saw to be much more effective.

This product not for floor tile
Would Not RecommendI would not recommend using this product to cut floor tile. It doesn't SCORE the tile deep enough. You may have to SCORE it more than 6 times and it still won't cut the tile correctly. The tile may break in different areas on the tile that you are going to use.b

Three stars because.....
The lowes employees recommended this one for the tiles that we bought from them. It wasn’t the right item for the job. It will not cut porcelain tiles well. Luckily I’d purchased a wet saw from floor and decor as well.

Great project tile cutter
Would RecommendI bought this for my bathroom tile project and it worked better than I anticipated, makes a clean edge on glass mosaic tile. The mosaic tile we used also had the stone sections in it and as it stated didn't work so well on them. I already had a Dewalt continuous 4" blade (xp4) from my previous kitchen backsplash so I used it for the stone pieces. Both of these tools made the job look good and went very quickly.

Breaks ceramic when cutting diagonal
Would Not RecommendI purchased this to try to save from having to go in the garage with the wet saw. I was hoping I could keep this in the bath I was remodeling and save a mess. I Wasted about a dozen pieces and kept getting broken corners. I ended up returning and just using my wet saw.

not worth it
Would Not RecommendI ordered online and received it broken. Don't know if was broken in delivery or not. Very cheaply made. I pieced together because I still needed to cut some tiles. It did cut effectively. Its just very flimsy.

20 inch tile cutter
Would RecommendI bought this to do 50 feet of 18”x24” porcelain tile for master bath wall. Worked great!!! Never used one before. Just followed simple instructions. Didn’t lose any tile due to excessive breakage.
NOT for porcelain
Would RecommendThe online info indicates ok for porcelain. The instructions with the cutter say not for porcelain. Cut the first tile ok but the next several all shattered until I gave up trying. Fortunately was using relatively inexpensive tile. Bought a diamond tipped grinder blade to use instead which worked better. I still gave it a decent rating as it seems well made for the price just not good for porcelain. Probably good on the less hard ceramic tile.
Awesome tool
Would RecommendWas a little difficult to learn how to use properly but once I figured it out this tool made my project a breeze perfect for what I needed it for

Great Product for the money!!
Would RecommendI am a do DIY and have laid several tile floors before. I have always used a wet saw for all my cuts or a diamond blade in an angle grinder. I have a tile floor project right now of 17x15 divided by 3 rooms. I purchased this to cut 8x24” wood look ceramic tiles. It has worked awesome! Very easy, clean, and you can cut right where you are working without worrying about the water from a wet saw or the dust from a diamond blade. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is because the miter gauge...
