What Customers Are Saying
The tile cutter performs well for cutting smaller, thinner ceramic tiles, allowing for clean, straight cuts. Many users found it easy to use, especially for beginners. However, it struggles with larger, thicker porcelain tiles, often cracking or breaking the tiles, especially when making longer cuts. The scoring blade also wears down quickly on porcelain. Overall, the tile cutter is best suited for smaller ceramic tiles, but not recommended for larger or thicker porcelain tiles.

Snap cutter
Would RecommendI purchased this to help with laying tile in the living room. I had over 200 tile to cut, and did not want to mess with a wet saw, as I have never done flooring or used that type of tool. This was very easy to use and I could use it by myself. It would benefit better if it had a way to suction it down, or screw down while making the score lines.

Store doesn’t carry nessacary accessories
Bought this cutter only to find it comes with a ceramic cutter. I needed a glass cutting wheel and went to get one at the store only to find Lowe’s doesn’t carry the porcelain or glass cutting wheel for it. Hard to understand since Lowe’s sells so much glass and porcelain back splashes

Great tool for the price
Would RecommendI purchased this tile cutter to cut 1"x2" mosaic tiles for my kitchen backsplash. Had never used a manual cutter before and was very pleasantly surprised. I practiced with a broken piece first and it worked like a charm; very precise cut. The rubber mats kept the pieces in place. Then I did the "good" tiles and all went as planned. Clean cuts right where I wanted them. This cutter cost half as much as the others I looked at and did a super job.

Didn’t use it
Would RecommendI read the instructions on the carton and realized that this was not the correct tool for my needs. It will not cut porcelain without an additional cutter and it will not make cuts less than one inch

Love it!
Would RecommendThis is the first time I've ever installed a ceramic backsplash and was delighted with how easily this tool was to use and how it cut the tile. It was an inexpensive tool that works fantastic! I've finished two bathrooms so far.

Kind of disappointed
1. Does NOT work with porcelain tile though this site says it does. Porcelain tiles break when you try. There is no porcelain wheel available. If you read the box it also says dont use, didnt see that while in store but lowes person said it does. 2. The ruler (included) is off substantially, up to 1/4" due to wobble of ruler in its track.
Beginner
Would Not RecommendI was not impressed with this tile cutter. It did not cut lean lines. My tile was a bit thicker but it is a floor tile that I have purchased through Virginia Tile for my bathroom floor. After busting 3 tiles I decided to take it back and purchase a wet saw. After reading all of the reviews I thought this would serve my purpose. I was sadly mistaken.
