A good value tile cutter

If I were doing this professionally, I would spend the money on a more heavy duty unit but for our use it worked fine (with the help of a Rotozip with masonry cutting attachment for the small detailed cuts.

This thing is great!

I was very skeptical of using this type of cutter to cut 12" porcelain tiles to redo our deck mounted garden tub, but I have to say that this thing worked amazingly well! As you cut tile, I found that a little more pressure is needed to make clean cuts after the cutting wheel wears. I was even able to cut small trim pieces perfectly. Wish they sold replacement wheels, but I guess it's cheap enough to buy a new one for each project.

Cheapo plasticrap

I'm a little shocked at all the positive reviews for this product. The gauge that holds the tile in place is plastic, so it bends out of shape, making repetitive cuts a pita. The pad under the snapper is some kind of soft foam tape, so it doesn't take long to wear out and start breaking yr cuts up. I guess you can't expect much for $25, but you'll be lucky if you finish one job with this cutter.

Not Heavy Duty

extremely light material. would not score tile very well. when it did score it was not enough to snap it in place. the handle will bend if to much force is applied.

seems to work fine

Never cut tile before but i noticed that if i press too hard when scoring, the break will be uneven. However when i press lightly when dragging the wheel over the tile the break was much more clean.

Quality

This kind of tile cutter needs to have better quality of blade and bigger than the one already have it

Good But not Perfect

For the price, it is pretty good. As opposed to the instructions - it is not good with smaller cuts - and tends to crack a tile rather than cut it. But for larger cuts it is great

Not worth the money

It cut the first ten to twelve tiles fine. After that it started going down hill fast. Glad it comes with a second wheel. Now I can get 20 to 24 good cuts. Will have to figure out what to do about the hundred or so I am shy. Not impressed.

Awesome

I have a mini subway glass tile backsplash and wasn’t sure how I was going to cut them by myself . I read a ton of reviews on this product and decided to try it out. Since it was only $23 I figure I wasn’t losing much if it didn’t work. Let me tell you this tool is totally awesome. Easy to use and works great. Totally recommend

Saves time and works great. Just score your vinyl with this cutter and snap it. Makes flooring a lot easier

Blue Hawk

Couldn't get it to snap tile cleanly no matter what we tried. Just wasn't scoring a clean line.

Small Bathroom shower tile

It worked so much better than I anticipated. We just did straight cuts with it and it was great. We used it to tile up the top part of the shower. It even cut small 1" strips.

Good Tile cutter

Bought this so I would not have to run up and down the stairs to my wet saw just to make end cuts. This worked fairly well, Overall, I would say that it was worth the investment.

Bad product

When cutting tile you have a hard time seeing the cutting wheel to line up your cut mark. Also after the wheel scores the tile the breaker arm does not perform efficiently.

Breaks more tile than it cuts

This product is beyond frustrating to use. It breaks more tile than it cuts. Its cuts are inconsistent and not truly straight. It’s limited to one type of cut - a “straight” line fully across the tile. You cannot do L or U shape cuts with this product. It’s very limited on what it can do and it doesn’t even do a good job at what it can do. I highly recommend renting or buying a wet saw and saving yourself the frustration as those are far superior to this shoddily made product. Save your money. D...
