Great for making random mosaic pieces from tile. Bad at making straight cuts where you want them.

Works Fine for a Tile Cutter

It works as advertised within the limitations of a tile cutter. It’s great for making big, straight cuts. It struggles making thinner cuts without breaking tiles in half. It can’t make any cuts that don’t go along the entire length of the tile. It comes in handy quickly cutting tiles in half when you don’t want to walk all the way to the tile saw to do it. Very easy to use.

Excellent product especially for the price

Works great. I tiled my bathroom and closet and the cutter worked like a charm.

14 inch snap cutter

Only made 2 cuts so far but looks good. Package said there were 2 cutting wheels but only see 1. Will continue to look.

Worked well

I didn't want to spend a lot on a tile cutter because I would only be doing a small 130' back patio. At $25, this cut all the tiles just fine and I didn't have to open the spare scoring wheel.

Worth the money!

After reading other reviews on this product, I decided to try it on the glass tile mosaic mats that I purchased for a backsplash project. Although the product says it’s not for use on glass, it’s worked like charm so far. There is a particle tile that keeps separating with jagged edges but I’m just filing those smooth. YOU NEED A REALLY NEW, SHARP BLADE TO MAKE THIS WORK. NOT AS EASY TO MAKE A CLEAN, STRAIGHT CUT AS YOU WOULD THINK.

Does not cut porcelain tile

I went to Lowe’s to look for a tile cutter they only had three options small, medium one and a large one pretty sure they were all buy the same brand. I took the smaller one because I didn’t have to rip a long cut. When I got home and I tried the tile cutter out it was cracking my tile or took repeated pressure on the handle to try to break the tile it’s too weak to cut a 36 inch long by 6 inch wide porcelain tile and I only had to cut the 6 inch direction and it still could not handle it I wou...

great little tool

Needed a cutter for a small tiling job.. replacing a baseboard with 3/8 thick ceramic tile, beveled on all sides. My experience cutting tile is not a happy one so I bought a few extra pieces of the product. This machine could not have worked better and was nearly effortless to use. Needless to say, I still have a few extra tiles at hand.

subway tile

For the price and for cutting subway tile for a backsplash this did the job quite nicely.

Nothing wrong with product. BUT I RETURNED IT BECAUSE, I WAS CUTTING 1" tile pieces and nippers worked the best for me. I would recommend this tool to others who are cutting larger tiles.

Does the job for the occasional DIYer

My husband and I needed to cut four tiles to finish our fireplace threshold and surround. We considered renting a cutter. Then I found this. It does the job pretty well for the price. Scorring the tile deeply is important. We used a sander to smooth out the cut line I. Areas we did the score very well. We will keep it around for when I get around to re-tyling our small laundry room. If something took very precise cuts or more than ten cuts I would rent a tile cutter. But for a few cuts that you...

Awesome time saver

I was using a wet saw but running up and down the stairs to go outside was killing me. I took a chance since this was just $20. What a steal! I can now do 80% of my cuts right in the bathroom where I am working and save a bunch of time.

Good Product - Very simple

I have only made a few cuts with this product so far. My first cut was a disaster but after that I figured it out and seems to be working pretty well. I kinda hold my breath each time I am pushing down to snap the tile but to my surprise it cuts pretty nicely. For a small job and the price, I would recommend.

Pleasantly surprised !

Cut my tile like butter and I have never used one in my life. Score and snap! My first remodel is coming along nicely. I would like to also add the store personnel in Waxahachie are fantastic. Guy was sweeping the other night, stopped, and started making suggestions on the different products I needed that I might like, and would help me.
