Not Too Shabby

Got this cutter to finish redoing my kitchen. I used 13x13 ceramic tile. The only issue I had with it is the plastic adjuster. It's not as accurate as I hoped it would be and tends to move during scoring. Other than that it worked great. Not a bad price either.

Not for 12 inch porclelain tile

Because I had loaned my regular tile cutter out, I bought this for tiling a small bathroom with 12 inch porcelain tile and found it to be nearly useless. I could score the tile, but the arm was incapable of exerting enough force on the tile to snap it without excessively bending the tool. Finally gave up on it and used a tile saw for all cuts. It may be OK for smaller or less strong tiles.

Score It, Snap It

Good inexpensive tool for small jobs that works if you can’t afford a tile cutter. Only problem was the small end cuts as the pad to push down is angled a bit to high.

The worst

Bought this to cut 6 tiles down. It couldn't even do one correctly. Maybe it was a previous return? So tired of blue hawk crappy products. Seems to be a trend.

Great buy!

We bought this cutter after reading the reviews.The cutter we had started the job with, cut just 8 tiles before the part that snaps the tile broke in half. This Blue Hawk worked perfectly every time. Snap the tile from the top of the cut and press dwn slowly. Wish we had bought this one first.Sorry can't remember make of the first one, it went straight into the garbage. 5 stars to Blue Hawk. Irma.

Easy to Use

Very easy to use, simply instructions, worked well and affordable. Took a few tries to get it perfect, but definitely an easy tool.

I've only used this on 3/8 ceramic so far. No complaints. Great tool for the money.

Tile snap cutter

This was exactly the product I was looking for. Retiling a small bathroom only required a few ceramic tile cuts. This device functioned perfectly, creating an even, square cut. Looking for my next project now.

Did not work on ceramic tile

Broke two tiles trying to cut them. The score was not much more than a scratch. Tried a couple times to do it right and could not get any results for my large tile

Should say NOT FOR USE WITH VINYL TILES

Bought it thinking it would work to cut peel and stick vinyl, I could not be more wrong.

Good for basic tile jobs

Worked very well for my shower tile install. Used it to cut LOTS of basic 4x4" porcelain tile. I've never done tile work before and it was very easy to use and get the hang of it.

Bathroom accent wall

Excellent tool for the DIYer.

Terrible results

I did not like this product at all. For the cost it is not as clean and accurate as the 80 dollar wet saw I bought after trying this item
