What Customers Are Saying
This tile cutter received mixed reviews. Many found it effective for cutting glass, mosaic, and porcelain tiles, especially for small to medium DIY projects, praising its ease of use and the clean, smooth cuts it produced. However, some struggled to get clean, straight cuts, particularly on thicker or larger tiles. A few reported issues with the cutter breaking or not cleanly snapping tiles. The quality and construction seemed inconsistent, with some considering it a good value while others felt it was poorly made. For more extensive tile work, a wet saw was often recommended as a better option.

Would Not RecommendCheaply constructed. Used once for small job. Broke many tiles. Had to finish with my old QESP tool.
Worked on my glass tile
Would RecommendI went in three times looking for something that will give me a nice clean cut in my DIY glass tile backsplash. They just kept saying a WET SAW but I wanted something more compact and manageable for my novice skills, not to mention the $$ either bought or rented since I would have to rent it a couple of times for my multiple sections. Anyway, I used this tool with the scoring wheel it comes with (which is suppose to be for ceramic tile) I scored my glass tiles with the little wheel and broke i...
TRASH
Would Not Recommendi dont ever write reviews. this tile snapper is trash it cant make an even break for crap. cant cut 1 1/4 inch off the side either it snaps the entire tile
Probably works better for larger size tile
Would RecommendI was trying to do my own tile backsplash with tiles that are just 2 x 4“ and marble so if I wanted to cut them exactly in half this works great but in a smaller pieces it doesn’t because the piece that you use to press down to split the tile isn’t practical for the smaller size tiles.

it works
Would RecommendThis tool does exactly what it is supposed to do. It gives a nice clean cut. Just take your time snd make sure the tile is scribed before making the cut. I used it on mosaic tiles and each one cut cleanly and precicely.
It works really well!
Would RecommendThe device is manual and you must take your time using it but it works well.

Skeptical but Surprised
Would RecommendAs someone who has literally never worked with tile, I was a bit nervous about using this product. With a little bit of practice and the right amount of for e, this tool made my tiling project so simple! And you can’t beat the price.
ok for the price but too many plastic parts
Would Not RecommendThe setup of this tile cutter is awkward and the plastic fence is so flimsy it is worthless.

Great for small jobs
Would RecommendI used this snap cutter while retiling my kitchen backsplash. I used a mosaic tile that contained some glass, some ceramic, and some marble. It worked like a charm on all three materials. I wish I had bought this sooner. It was very efficient and the mess was minimal.

Little tricky to get the hang of but worked
Would RecommendI needed to trim one tile to replace a broken on. This item did the trick even though I could have used a little more practice. It is not a easy to use as the demo showed and the demo did not include any special tricks for removing just an inch or two from the side of a tile. I will be using it again in the future so I'm glad we have it with the other tools.

It shattered my tile
This snap cutter did not work on the tile I bought. It shattered the first 3. I stoped using it and used a grinder instead. I wouldnt g egg this for any tile that is not completly smooth.
Will not cut subway tiles lengthwise
Would Not RecommendI bought this for doing subway tile backsplash. It cut the tiles in half vertically fine but when tryimg to cut horizontally along the length of the 2x4" tiles, it failed miserably.
Handy tool for crafters
Would RecommendThis little tool helps me cut even tiles for my mosaics. I can cut nice straight strips and then nice even squares. I’m 68 and not all that strong but I can use it.
