Easier than I thought

Previously I had always used my wet saw to cut tile, even straight cuts. This is so much quicker cleaner and quieter!

Awesome cutter

I purchased this to tile my roughly 750 sq ft basement. My first time laying tile & using a tile cutter & has worked flawlessly. One score, one snap and perfect cuts every time. The cuts are so straight you can't tell the difference between the cut edge and factory edge. This may be due to the type of tile too, not sure, but I can say this has been more than worth it to me.

Cut my crackled glass tile perfectly!

Very easy to use, I was worried about how cheap it was and some of these reviews. But it worked perfectly and i was cutting a crakled glass mosiac tile. You just have to: 1. Score it once with some pressure 2. Put the pressure plate on each cut and push down. THATS IT! So for some of the review that broke the scoring wheel you must have pushed way to hard. I cut over 30 tiles & still have the original scoring wheel on. Well worth the money, no mess from the wet saw, you can cut right where ...

Love this thing!

I was so anxious about cutting my glass tiles for my small backsplash project. I bought a wet saw and then decided it was overkill. This was perfect. Totally affordable, and does what it is supposed to.

Easy Peasy

I bought this to use cutting porcelain tile that was 9x12. It worked like a charm. It takes a couple of cuts to get the amount of force to use on the cutting arm, but then it was all down hill. I also have a wet saw, but this made straight cuts move so much faster.

Works good. It comes with replacement cuting head which is great.

Not for porcelain

Bought cutter based on price and specs given on this site. Specs on site are wrong! This cutter is not for porcelain, glass or hard stone like marble. Got home and tried cutting 8 mm thick porcelain tile with no luck. Thickness was under the 9.5 mm stated in direction booklet but looking closer to the booklet found it stating good for ceramic not hard tile like porcelain, glass or nateral stone.

Decent tile cutter

The price and quality of this tile cutter are both good. Pretty simple to use. If you don't have a lot of tile to cut, or any complicated cuts, this is a great tool.

Great tool!

I’m really glad I picked this thing up. It has had no problems with the ceramic wood plank tile I’m laying and is much quicker than the wet saw. It is a bit flimsy as other reviews have stated, but it hasn’t caused any problems for me. I’ve probably made about 200 cuts and haven’t even had to change the cutter yet.
