Terrific Product

The Biolite bundle is terrific. I made breakfast and coffee this weekend with the Biolite camp stove and grill.

Good concept, but doesn't live up to the hype.

The grill doesn't fit snugly in the top of the stove and the legs of the grill aren't long enough to reach the ground in a way that would make the grill top flat so all the food slid to the front of the grill. The fan used up the battery power really quickly even on the lowest fan setting and even though the fire was still blazing inside. But it's still good enough to work on a short camping trip or in a pinch if there's an emergency.

I look forward to using it.

Just got this a couple of weeks ago, but due to fire restrictions in our forest I haven't been able to use it yet. It is built well and I like the grey/black color better than the orange. Every thing appears to work well and I am looking forward to using it as soon as fire restrictions are lifted.

Now, I have to figure out who gets my old one.

I've had a biolite stove since 2014 and love it. I've used almost every biomass fuel I can find. Even works great with wood pellets. Don't forget to get the french press attachment. Every home should have a biolite camp stove to use

After using my camp stove 2 bundle a few times, I desided to get both of my adult children bundles of their own. In other words, I Love My Camp Stove! They are practically as easy to use as falling off a log.

Great deal for the money. Don't know how long the battery will really last, though, and shipping is challenging (no air)... I have used mine many times during disaster issues (no electricity, snow storms...) and also car camping -- water boils fast!

Best camping cooker!

I had looked at the BioLite unit and kits for awhile and finally decided to take the plunge. I've only sampled in my backyard so far and am loving this set up! Cooking over a fire has always been my favorite and this gives me the option without a full fire. I've had it just over a week and so far I've made beef burgers, chicken thighs. An essential for any outdoor trip.

One of my favorite all time purchases. A must have for backpackers, campers, outdoor enthusiasts, or even in a bugout bag. It does have some heft to it, but you no longer have to carry around those fuel cylinders. Essentially you have a never ending fuel supply. As well as a charger for your devices. So the heft is an even trade. I highly recommend.

Bike Glamping - Eugene to Crater Lake & return...

More than adequate tool for bike glamping. Used only the kettle, bowl and stove. Very helpful having the built-in fan for fire starting as a lot of my kindling was understory with moss, so a bit damp and slow to start. Unit worked flawlessly, reliably and helped charge a few of my USB devices while keeping itself topped off. Did not haul the grill on my bike trip. Everything was 'add-water' packaged food.

Great update!

The updated stove is much easier to lite and more flexible to operate than the original, the grill works great for small stuff (but I do worry about mess when camping, will probably only use on car camping trips).

People concerned about rainy weather should have a couple of bags of the wood pellets in the car/truck...... that solves the problem of using during rainy weather......

Strong

I've used it 10 times in the first month of purchase. Pinecones, whiskey barrel wood, twigs and sticks... it fires up as advertised. The battery charging is a gimmick for the most part, but could provide some minimal juice in an emergency.

Biolite Campstove 2 Bundle Review

Great product for firelight, grilling and boiling water. Pretty easy learning curve to understand all the stove’s usefulness. Boiling water is a synch because the flame shoots straight up at the bottom of the kettle. When grilling I notice the flame does not spread out to the entire grill base. When I feed it more wood to increase the flame spread it tends to overcook the hot dogs and sausages. Medium flame and constant lengthwise flipping and turning of the dogs works for me. Came as stated on box. Have not used it yet but I am excited to do so.

Using the stove

After getting the hang of it, it took about 25 min to boil 2 liters of water. It's fun to use, but does require regular attention to keep it going.

Amazing device!

Works better than advertised. Great for backyard hot dogs or perfectly at home on the trail buy with confidence

A Hit as a Gift

I purchased this as a birthday gift to my husband. He loves it and is looking forward to using it while camping. He tested it out in our backyard and is impressed with the design.
