Love this little stove and bundle.

Love, love, love this little stove. It's a great grouping that is easy to set up, you can pack as much or little as you want and still get a great hot meal. To boil a full pot of water, I barely need a fist full of twigs.

1 of a kind

Innovative product. Love the modularity and the thermocouple - it greatly satisfies my inner nerd. The cover for the stove addition is the only real thing that could be improved. It is an awkward shape and it is a shame that an opportunity was missed to create a case for it that could also store a tightly fitting mess kit complete with plate/table surfaces (hint, hint for the next model). Notwithstanding, it is a still a great product and I'm happy to support this new tech.

Good portable stove, but needs some practice

• Safe choice when it is too dry to make an open fire. • It works as expected, I did not experience any problems using the stove. • The stove needs only a handful of dry sticks or cones to grill several sausages. You will not need a saw or an axe to prepare firewood. • The only trick is that one should add new fuel each 2-3 minutes • You can remove ash only after you are done with cooking. So prefer wood which does not produce too much ash.

For fun or for serious work

Nice camp stove for day hikes or outback camping. Larger and a bit heavier than most other portable stoves but as long as you carry a small amount of dry fire starter you will likely never worry about running out of fuel. Lighting and maintenance of the fire takes a few times to get used to but once you have the skill it is easy to get the stove up to furnace-like temperatures for boiling the big kettle quickly or even using damp twigs as fuel. Works great!

Worked just fine for my first try. You must have enough sticks on hand to keep feeding stove but if you’re prepared it’s not a problem. Was not difficult to regulate heat and the steak came out great.

The Best Backpacking Stove

What an amazing product! I live in Fort Collins CO & I'm using this bad boy/girl every time I'm in the canyon! Great way to cook/boil whenever you like, portable battery bank, & packs up nicely at right around 5-8lbs.

Great product fun to use.

Great product for camping, hiking, even the back yard. Reason for four stars is that there’s a lot of sharp edges on the flame guard of the pot that if deburred, would make this a five star product.

This little stove is the best yet

The stove works great at running at high temp. So boiling water it’s quick. Cooking with the grill is also fast. My 7 yr old loves to cook with me. It’s exciting to see the “vortex” fire.

Works well even in rain

Love this product, even though it’s on the heavier side for backpacking it’s well worth it! Even when we had a downpour we were still able to get it lit with some damp twigs and tinder we brought. The only thing I would like to see is maybe a different additional pot that can go on top.

I have been using my rocket stove every day for a week and I love it! Very easy to use and pack away when finished with it. I have also found pinecones to make excellent fuel. When available of course. Thanks so much for your efforts and care that goes into your products!

Awesome....and super cool

Awesome....and super cool! Have already grilled steaks, burgers, and chicken. Plus made a pot of coffee with the press. All with small sticks from my back yard. Can't wait for our next camping trip so that I can use it.

Stove

It produces a tremendous amount of heat out of scrap bits of wood found around The campsite. The one warning is that someone has to pay attention to the stove and feed it more combustible material every 3-5 minutes. It boiled 6 cups of cold water in 14 minutes the first time I used it. With practice, I hope to get it to 11 minutes. Awesome product after 15 uses. It seems durable too.
