Inexpensive way to be warned of water in the basement before major damage occurs.

I checked the Alarm out prior to installing in the basement. It worked great and made a noise that would wake anyone.

Just put batteries in set it where you want it. If any moisture makes contact with both leads alarm sounds.

Works great!

Installed at my dad's house after sump failed and basement flooded. Two days later sump again failed and alarm went off averting a repeat flood. Great product, works and price is fantastic. Highly recommend.

Does what’s advertised

Simple concept and perfect execution. This alarm works as advertised and is extremely loud. It can be heard from anywhere in the house.

Inexpensive solution

Works well. Wish it was 110 volt with battery backup. Those cost quite a bit more $. Runs on a 9 volt battery.

Inexpensive, but priceless investment!!

Not the sound you wanna hear in the middle of the night or when you get home from work, but much better than NOT knowing the basement is filling with water!! Get several, place them anywhere you may have an appliance or basement leak. Get them as house-warming gifts for new homeowners. Hopefully they'll never have to thank you profusely, but most people don't think to have these around. Definitely recommend!!

Useful and simple

I have used several of these in the last few years. It warned me of a water heater leak before it became a problem and another one warned me of a leak under the sink. I now have 6 of these including the washer and the toilets. It does not use power unless it operates, so I need to keep a watch for possible low battery... so far I change them every 2 years and is fine.

Watchdog water alarm

This is an inexpensive product to detect unwanted water. I first set it on the floor but then decided to mount the unit on the wall and place the sensors on the floor. It's fairly loud near by but hard to hear when on the next level.

This product will let you know there is a water problem before it gets out of hand. A good investment.

A must have

If you have water heaters, a/c condensation, or anywhere water could collect and cause problems, you need one for each area. Be sure to check the battery(s) every six months.

Works really well, as soon as water touches the probe the alarm sounds off. Sounds like an annoying smoke alarm

Hard to rate

Hard to rate this item until I have the problem it is designed to accomplish.

Had one for basement for over 5 years.

Had one of these for over 5 years and dropped in on basement concrete floor.So needed a new one.Found it at Lowe's has helped to notify us when during a rain down pour that water was seaping in basement from under garage door.Well worth the money.And is very loud when the contacts get wet.
