Money well spent. Have one by each toilet, sink and sump pump. Cheap insurance for what can be a costly problem.

Love the water alarm !!!! Kitchen spray hose had a small leak during late evening hours. Alarm went off and saved me a ton of work and expense. I have one in each bathroom and in the laundry room. Do yourself a big favor and purchase this water alarm, you won't be sorry.

Water Alarms under sinks

This looks like the alarms I have had in use for a couple of decades, and which still are working. I can test them quickly by putting a finger on both sensor pads. They always begin to sound an alarm, while I hold the finger on. I write the date of battery changes on the case, which helps.

A great alarm for detecting water leaks and it’s in expensive.

Great warning system

I have 5 of these throughout my house. 1 by the water heater, 2 near air conditioner drip pans, 1 by a toilet in the basement and 1 by the washing machine. The one by the water heater paid for all of them when my water heater started leaking due to a failure. They last years on one nine volt battery and can save major headaches by warning you of water issues.

I didn't give a very good rating because the cord because sensor cord wasn't long enough I had to add 100' of wire that I needed so since I had to do the work myself I gave this rating.

Doesn’t work

It was sitting in an inch of water and never went off. I lost my receipt or I would have returned it.

This alarm has saved the wood under our sink time and time again. Its possibly the best product i ever purchased.

Hope it never goes off

I had to order this online since not available in store. It arrived in good condition. Installed battery and tested in VERY shallow water. It worked. Dried it off and then, placed sensor in area to be protected. Using it in case my under sink waster filter system (also ordered online) fails AGAIN.

Second unit

This is my second unit that I have purchased. The first one is over a year old and is working fine. I change the battery on a yearly basis. I test the unit before installing it and have not had and any trouble with them.

clean the sensors

i sanitized my sub-pump pit with a little bleach and dish soap and little while later the alarm went off, did not think i got it wet so tried wiping with paper towel it and still buzzing so took out battery and took sensor to sink and gave it a good scrubbing it was a little dirty, spots dried with paper towel again and reinstalled battery working good must of have a conductive film

Easy

I bought two if these and the unit was very easy to install and easy to o understand.
