All I wanted was a battery and charger

Bad batteties

Both batteries were bad upon arrival

Not a great trimmer/edger

I bought this trimmer March of 2023 here it is February of 2024 and the motor is dead. Worst of all I can't replace the motor because it can not be ordered anywhere.

The on buttons were difficult to use

It broke after only a few uses

Lowes return desk was courteous & professional

auto feed stopped working 10 days into purchase, returned

My Weed Getter

I love everything about it, the light weight is perfect for older people like me, especially us older women. Loved that it was already assembled except for the guard plate that was easily placed with one screw. I’ve only used it once since I got it so don’t know yet how durable it will be but so far I love it!

Auto line feed help

Love the trimmer. I have all B&D 20V tools and have had no problems except for the trimmer. After the cord needs to be replaced. The automatic fee does not work with the new spool. . I have called Service three times and each time they just send a new one. Somebody give me a little help please.

Great for small yards and jobs.

Batteries doesn't last long. The battery tablet over 3 1/2 hours to fully charge.

Easy to use

This trimmer/weed eater is lightweight & easy to use. It comes with a charger & two batteries, and one battery has more than enough life for the small area I weed eat/trim.

This comes with two batteries which is convenient.

The two speeds is a great feature.

The string advance is a fantastic idea!!

Is a great machine, I have one and this was a gift to a neat lady who enjoys yard work,and the string advance is a great feature!

This BLACK+DECKER 20-volt Max 12-in Straight Cordless String Trimmer Edger Capable 1.5 Ah (Battery and Charger Included) just isn't worth the money. It takes 3 hrs to charge the battery and runs out in 20 minutes. Too much trouble to use for such a small amount of time

if you can not find it at the store--order online.

i had one like it before and really liked it then found you no longer carry that one at my vienna, w.v. store. i got another brand and took it back before ever using it as i could not figure out how to advance the line. i was glad when i found the same weed eater with 2 batteries on line and ordered it. i think the other one lasted over 4 years which i think is pretty good for the price and what i need it for around my house.

Another Unhappy Buyer/User

The description of the product "power through overgrowth and heavy weeds" doesn't truly describe this weed eater. It only has one string doing the job rather than 2. So it takes more time and battery. Fully charged batteries do not last long enough to do the job on a small subdivision lot. Would love to return it but I have used it several times. Trying to adjust to it's lack of power.

it's not the sellers fault.

It came with 2 batteries and one didn't work.

Lightweight and easy to start and run

I'm older and it is so easy to handle. Not heavy.. Does such a good job. I have had several through the years and will buy again when this one wears out. Recommend for sure
