This is one of the best tools I've ever owned ! Surprising long battery charge life and quick re-charge. No hassle line deployment and real easy change from trimming to edging.

Easy to use but under performs

Light weight and easy to handle, but not powerful enough for overgrown grass; battery also does not last long enough to finish the job.

String trimmer,best purchase I've ever made.

Have had this string trimmer/edger for around 6 years. It's still going strong and I still use the original batteries and they still hold a good charge. Love the versatility and ease of use

This combo trimmer/edger is perfect for my mid-sized property. I love how easy it is to switch from trimmer to edger and with my purchase of the prewound string spools, I never have any issues with proper self feeding. It does a fantastic job when edging my driveway and sidewalks and by having two 20V batteries, I never have to worry about lack of power!

Weed eater review

Works great but the only problem is have is the short battery life. I have to use three chared batteries to weed eater my yard. It does get the job done very well.

Excellent Cordless B&D Yard Trimmer - GET THIS!!

LOVE LOVE LOVE this string trimmer. Quickly converts from trimmer to edger with a quick move. Being able to extend this trimmer to full height is appreciated by a tall person like me (6'1") so I'm not constantly hunched over and my shorter friends and kids can use it too. Light weight and the batteries last a long time. I have a 1/4 acre property and have had this tool for at least 15 years.

20V string Trimmer

I have had multiple B & D 20V string trimmers over the years. I have quite a bit of trimming in my yard so they get worked very hard. This one I bought this past summer and is doing great! It does seem to go through more line than others I’ve had but I have learned to keep lots on hand. I stay with the B&as models since all my yard and shop tools can share the same batteries. Black & Decker fan for life.

Very consistent trimmer every time.

I have owned this trimmer for about 5 years and it has been consistent every time. Charges well, lots of power for all weeds and long grasses and battery life has been more then sufficient for a big property. You should not be disappointed.

Great trimmer

Great trimmer for medium sized lawn.

Terrible design

Bought this in 2019 and the bump design is the worst design I have ever experienced. The string gets tangled in the spool and you have to take it apart and remove the string and rewind new string. I will never buy another Black and Decker trimmer again.

Not Durable.

Used it about 4 times. Grass kept getting inside the trindle, jamming. On the 5th time I used it the gears jammed and the trindle will not turn. I think the gear is stripped. Cannot find any manual to show how to fix it. Junk. Waste of money.

Works great when new… But…

After a few uses it no longer feeds line with AFS. I manually open up the spool cover and have to feed line manually. There is no dirt or grass blocking the spring loaded feed system. It just quits feeding line.
