Overall good value and easy to use

I have only used it a of couple times but it does the job great. Starts right up, no maintenance, and much easier to use than a gas Weedwhacker. The guide for edging is a little hard to use so maybe if it had a wheel system it might work better. Overall love it so far.

Fun To Use!

I've had a corded weed eater for several years and got tired of having to deal with two long extension cords to reach the back part of the yard, so I looked at the reviews here and bought this one. The first charge took maybe two hours, but after that, it's charged within 30 minutes or less. I say less because I wasn't keeping an eye on it, but it was charged when I checked it 30 minutes later. The trimmer is very easy to use and has a good balance, however the battery life was around 25 min. will need a extra battery if you have a large yard.

It's going back to the store

While we had high hopes for this trimmer....loved the idea of a non-corded, non-fuel trimmer....it just doesn't work out that way. This trimmer is beautifully balanced and easy to use, and has plenty of power for trimming grasses and weeds, it's battery only lasts between 15 and 20 minutes, then it's done. This is completely unacceptable! We're greatly disappointed that this is the case, for we were quite excited about all the other features, and pleased that it's been so well engineered....ex...

BATTERY ARE JUCK

Purchase this at 4/13/2013 in the beginning of spring/summer and now its 8/8/2013 at the beginning of fall/winter. The trimmer works very good. I use it every week after the purchase until the battery went dead. I was impress how well and how powerful it is. BUT....the battery only lasted 4 months of use EVEN i kept it fully charge after each use.. My problem is the battery life indicator LED light doesn't shut off once its depress therefore it drains the battery to the point where the battery g...

Superior battery

I appreciate the lithium battery. My other Black & Decker trimmer has a 24volt battery which won't charge anymore. One thing is that the spool of string runs out quickly and costs a lot for what you get.

Easy to use and lightweight.

Product is very ease to use and light weight. Battery life has averaged about 30 minutes of use. We need a second battery to complete our yard.

Finally....a product that works as advertised

Product worked precisely as described. Powerful, long-lasting battery. Easy to use and not too heavy. I purchased this product after returning the Toro brand trimmer that was comparably priced. The Toro edging function did not work properly and the line fed too aggressively to the point where it was too cumbersome to operate. This trimmer does not have that problem. I would give it six stars if it were possible. Excellent purchase.

Great Trimmer

I got tired of dealing with my gas trimmer so I decided to try out a cordless trimmer. I had my mind made up that I was going to purchase the 79.00 Black and Decker model, but when I went to Lowes I decided to get this one since it was on sale. So far so good

I have only used this trimmer one time but I loved it. It was light and well balanced, quite, and it cut very well. I trimmed my whole yard and more than what I usually do. The battery lasted the whole time but I would not get away with a second round. I don't know how to describe how much trimming I did but I have a 1/4 acre lot with the normal items to trim around. The extra trimming I did was around the ground cover that borders my back yard which is about 2/3 of my lot.

Great trimmer!

I bought this trimmer because our old gas-powered unit finally quit. I didn't want to mess with the gas/oil thing any more. Got this home, had it put together in just a couple minutes, charged the battery for about 30 minutes and away I went. It's powerful enough to handle tall weeds, yet light enough for a woman to handle with no problems. Trimmed our entire yard (1/2 acre) in no time!

works great, uses way too much string

like the title says, the one and only complaint I have is that this trimmer uses too much string. also the string cost about $18 for 3 rolls. I have had this trimmer for maybe 3 months and have used 3 rolls of string. i am in a lose lose situation here

Works great; quiet; light

I wish the trimmer line was more robust but it will do. Line feeds easily. Quiet. Start button is a little clumsy. Overall, since I have only a yard to maintain it does the job nicely.

Great for the first 6 months

I have had this for a little over a year. I used to be able to use this at half power for around 30 mins at a time, now on the lowest sitting, it lasts 8.37 mins, which is super frustrating and the replacement batteries are really expensive. I think I would have been better just replacing the corded ones every 6 months or so. Other than that it works great, it takes care of my yard that is mainly weeds. Really a Great Trimmer

I own a LawnCare Business and recently had back surgery and decided to purchase this unit as a temporary tool due to its lightweight. I started using this and was amazed at how well it worked. Line seemed to last forever compared to my gas trimmers. Even though I can now use the gas trimmers I still grab this one for most of my yards. Took it back to exchange and they seem to have pulled this product from the Lowes shelves. Had to settle for the 20 v product which is about 1/2 the product. The 36 v unit is awesome -
