I bought this trimmer because my electric trimmer couldn't reach my entire yard without an extremely long extension cord. Cheap battery

Bought this just over a year ago, by the end of the summer battery would only do a partial charge about 2/5th. Now the battery will not charge at all. Went to check out the cost of a new battery. They want $89 plus tax. Really? I think I will go and get me a gas trimmer.. Only thing I will need is gas, oil and we are good to go. I will not buy it at Lowes

Works well, Decent Product

The battery lasts about 1 hour on middle power range. The fact that it has a power control is better than the Worx model. It is a bit heavy, but can be adjusted so that it balances and thus relieves some strain. Make sure you get a spare battery. Automatic line feed is somewhat of a pain as it often requires several quick bursts on the trigger to function.

Good tools make yardwork easier

I am really impressed by how easy and light weight this weed eater is. It is so easy to use, charge the battery, insert the battery and pick it up and go. Just press a couple buttons and you're in business. I also like the fact you can use it to help with edging.

One of the Best purchases ever

I bought this about a year ago and I assure you it's definitely the best weed eater I've ever had. I love that it requires no gas, cord, oil, etc. This weed eater is a beast with cutting almost 2 acres of land. Good Product

Bought one for myself last year had no problems works great, light weight and long battery charge. Just bought another one for Fathers day and had a defective battery and returned for an exchange, frustrated had to take back but easy exchange and works great.

Super easy to set up

This is my first string trimmer I've ever bought (or used for that matter) as a new homeowner. It was exceedingly easy to put together (5 mins) and came half-charged so I could use it immediately. Excellent so far!

I am surprised at how much torque this little trimmer has. I have a gas trimmer that (when I can get the thing started) is pretty powerful, but this electric trimmer hangs with it no problem. It's also very light, and I actually found the rotating head useful for edging (I haven't had much luck with that kind of feature in the past). If you have arrived at this model you can stop researching. This is a great machine. Plenty of power for the average homeowner. I got tired of the endless cranking trying to get my old gas powered trimmer to start and I was not about to drag fifty yards of cord around the yard. Good buy

Like others I am very skeptical the longevity of the battery and power of the trimmer. I bought one at Lowes and try out around my house half acre approx. it works great and still have 1/3 of battery left over. Recharging is also fast. It's a nice try buy so far. I see how it performs in the next couple months. If the battery can last and sustain reasonable charge, can wait get a sweeper.

I purchased this trimmer last week. I have used it one time and it works great and is very light weight. I went out in part of my yard just to try it out; it was so light and worked so well' I trimmed my whole yard in about 30 mins. Excellent battery life and very light weight.

Didn't get to use it.

I am sure the product is fine, however the item Lowes sold me had already been used, already had grass stains and was beaten up. It was missing parts and instructions. When I returned it they didn't have anymore at the store so I went online and ordered it from Home Depot.

This trimmer easily cuts through grass on mid-power settings, however the battery does not hold charge for the trimming of a large area. It is made for trimming small areas and is not a substitute for a lawnmower. The trimmer is lightweight but if you are tall the support handle cannot be adjusted high enough up the handle which can cause arm or back strain. This trimmer is easy to use, lightweight, gets into tight spots and battery recharges in a very short time. Our teenage grand daughter wants to do all our weed whacking.

Excellent Cordless Edger/Trimmer!

I’ve owned this for about three months now and love this trimmer. My old cordless B&D died after about 7 years and this has been a great replacement. I’ve never run out of juice on the battery and the power is amazing. Of course, I only have a standard front and back yard that usually takes me about 30-45 minutes to do the edging and trimming. I also own the 36v cordless Hedge Trimmer and really like it as well.

Great Product

This is one tough trimmer and so light weight. Very surprised how easy it is to use and charge lasts long enough for my arm/hand to get tired. I am going to order a couple of replacement batteries so that I can finish my farm work without stopping. No gas/oil to have to mess with and no rope to pull. That in it's self is worth the price. One of the best investments ever made!!

Love This Weedeater

I bought this to use myself since my husband is no longer able to care for our yard like he used to. It is very easy to use. I would suggest buying an extra battery so that if the juice runs out you would have another one to plug in and complete your task. The weedeater is very light and easy to handle.
