Not the best

The tanks keep falling off when in use. I have secured them many times and they will not stay. Makes more of a mess.

Terrible

Avoid this carpet cleaner unless you enjoy having to stop to empty the dirty water all the time. I did my living room and hallway and lost count of the number of times I had to stop and empty it or fill the clean water tank. The instructions tell you to keep going back and forth until the solution being pulled up is clear. You can't see anything because of the clunky tanks so it's hard to tell when the water is clear...unless you're plastic man and can stretch around to see it. Doesn't clean the...

This machine is a beast! We had an old 1990's Bissell that needed to be put to rest. This one proved to me that sometimes the advancement of technology actually does make things easier. Unlike upgrading your phone or computer, this was so easy i didn't even have to think while I was cleaning!

Works well

Overall I think it worked great but the amount of times you have to fill & dumb to clean one small room can get excessive. I bought this once bc it’s says XL not sure what they’re referring to but its not the size of the water compartments that’s for sure.

I loved this at first

This is now my second bissell product to overheat and become unusable. I have had this steam cleaner for maybe 1 year and after turning it on to use it yesterday, it started smoking. I quickly turned it off and took the bottom apart and realized a belt was broken. No worries, I ordered a new belt and replaced it. Today, I fixed the belt and turned it on. Same thing happened. Really works well

I have 6 area rugs and a carpeted staircase. I have never cleaned the rugs other than occasional spot cleaning. 2 of the rugs haven't been cleaned in over 20 years (vacuumed yes but never wet cleaned). So I bought the Turboclean Pet XL and it's amazing how much dirt must have been in those rugs. Dirty water was very dark. I'm happy and it doesn't bother me in the slightest that I have to dump out often. Only negative in my view is the weight. I use a Dyson stick vacuum and it's like waving a wan...

It works great and seems to work better than the last model that I had.

New and Improved

This is not our first Bissell carpet shampooer, but it is the best. The machine has been improved with larger reservoirs for clean and soiled water, and the suction is more powerful. Still it seems to weigh less, and maneuvers more easily.

Easy

So easy to put together. Canisters come in and out without a hitch. I felt the machine did a great job cleaning. I do wish any cleaner could be powerful enough to remove a maximum amount of water and moisture, but that is not unique to this machine. I was happy with it.

Works great! Enjoyed using it so much!
