I would not buy again

My daughter bought me this as a mother days gift. Have owned about 18 months and now it will not recharge. Cheaper to just buy a new one. I will go to a rumba for my next purchase

My stress relief

I absolutely love my Smart Clean robotic vacuum! Such a stress reliever when I come home from a busy day and kids getting ready for activities but I can see that my carpet was vacuumed while I was out. The vacuum is set daily for 10 am 7 days a week and runs for a full hour with all cycles. I come home and empty the bin, so our little Echo is ready for another day of cleaning. How can I change the mode?

I noticed that others also have this problem. I set the vacuum to run every day for 45 minutes and return to base. It was great for the first month. Then suddenly it switched itself to max run time every day and the battery dies before it can find the docking station again. I change it back to 45 min all the time and when it starts it always defaults to max run time again. How do I get it stay on 45 min?

Don't waste your money

Very cheaply made. The plastic part that holds the roller brush in place broke off, after only using for a few months and can not be replaced or repaired. Unless you have a use for a 5# paper weight, purchase something else.

Keep getting battery Error

worked great for the 1st month and then stopped working.

Roomba's smarter , but much weaker younger brother.

I purchased this to compare to my Roomba and see if the lower price was worth it. If you can afford it, get a Roomba. This one does not even compare to the way the Roomba cleans. However, the Bissell seems smarter and gets stuck much less than the Roomba. It's better on hardwood, than carpet. I recommend a roomba if you have lots of carpet. The bissell will do decent on the hardwood, but still does not compare. Definitely get what you pay for. I would not recommend purchasing this.

Keep the doors closed if you don't want it in there lol

I tried to give it the benefit of the doubt, but this didn't even live close to anything. Entertainment for the cat. Nope not for me.

Completely breaks - same problem 3 times

I have had this vacuum for just under a year (was purchased just over a year ago). THREE times now, the machine has broken completely and will not charge. Bissell did replace it the first two times, but the last time was very firm that they would only replace machines purchased less than one year ago, so now I am out of a vacuum cleaner. For a brand like Bissell it is completely unacceptable for the lifetime of their product to be under 6 months.

Works good

We've got 2 dogs and a toddler so there's always a need for cleaning. It works great on wood floors and decently on shag rugs. The rugs kill the battery though. My only complaint is the scheduling which seems to only choose the 99 minute option. It doesn't have the battery life to do that with rugs. I'd love an option of the 30 or 45 minutes like the manual program.

I am not happy with this product! I am also not happy that this review would not allow me to leave all of the stars empty in the rating. It keeps getting stuck. It will continue bang into the same object/spot until it finally shuts down, or it will back up to the legs of furniture and get stuck and turn off. Welcome to our house

The most wonderful surprise Christmas gift I received from my husband and boys! To say I LOVE this robot vacuum, "Lily Pad" would be an understatement. It makes keeping the floors clean so EASY! I've been wanting a robot vacuum for quite a while, but didn't want to buy the higher priced versions. Especially since I'd never owned one before. Not as good as I had hoped

The main purpose of getting this vacuum was to keep the pet hair off the floor. It does a fair job for that. It's too loud to let it run at night, so we have it run when we're gone. Unfortunately, we often return home to find it beeping in the middle of a room because it couldn't get back to its base. This is disappointing and frustrating.

Don't waste your money

This is my 2nd. Same exact problem as the first. Bissell sent me a replacement after the first one quit after a few months of about 1 hour a week use. This time the 1 year warranty was up. I should have used it more, so it would still have been under warranty. Plastic gears do not hold up! I can't believe that Bissell sells such a cheap product. Does not clean very well.

I have been using this product for 2 months now and am not impressed with it at all. It barely picks up any debris and the sensor is too sensitive to the ridges in my living room rug. Plus, it doesn't move in the direction that it gets set upon and goes all over the place. Not impressed with this product at all!

I asked for this vacuum for Christmas and Santa delivered. We had our carpet replaced with laminate a year ago and we have 4 dogs. We get "dog hair drifts" on a daily basis and I thought one of those "robot vacuums" would help. Not recommended

a) The wheels mechanism gets stuck resulting in the robot doing one of two things: 1) turns on the spot like a top 2) travels 3 feet, before hitting anything turns 90 degrees or more, and repeat.
