Very impressed with Mommy's new little helper

I love LOVE love my new vacuum. Got it a week ago and turned it on and let it go. I am the type that doesn't read directions...who has time.. so the fact I could just plug it in, charge it, then let it go, was very helpful. We have had the Shark lift away for the past two years and I use it EVERYDAY. I was blown away by the amount of STUFF my new smart clean robotic vacuum swept up and how clean my floors (carpet and hardwood) were compared to using the shark. AND I ONLY HAD TO TURN IT ON!!!! subpar

I bought this after my roomba's exceptional service for 5 years. Unfortunately Smartclean is not par with other robo cleaners performance and built. Very delicate built and very loud during cleaning. Not able to reach corners or the edges of walls. Not a helpful robot. No remote is killer-and deal breaker. If you already a roomba user, you would definitely regret paying for this product.

Good vacuum

I love my robotic vacuum. There are a few things that I think could be improved on it. The docking station, trying to program it is a bit confusing and hard to see. I wish It had different settings to program on the docking station. You should be able to program the machine to do what you want before it turns on, I have chased it on occasion. The remote should be included with the machine not an add on. I have a bird who is quite messy and this vacuum does a fairly good job picking up her mess. ...

Great product but trash light remains on

Love this product. Cleans better than the others I have purchase. Does everything well- esp hard woods! Down side- Louder than competitors products Can't not get the empty trash light off. Filter is empty, filter is brushed off, rotating brush cleaning. This is occurring only after 6 uses.

I love my little robot buddy

Expectations met

This little vacuum has performed as I had hoped it would. Our family dog sheds a lot of hair and I was pleased at how much hair it picked up one day after using our main vacuum. This machine will not replace our bigger unit but will definitely keep the hair and dirt accumulations manageable between main cleanings. Great product Bissell.

Hoping to love this robot!!

Just bought it yesterday, charged it up, ran it, and really liked the way it worked. Still learning about how to ensure it charges (it did not go automatically today because it did not charge in the station). Picked up cat hair and small debris well on rugs and floors and got just about everywhere all by itself. Set the suction to high - it will run out of battery faster but do a better job. love the smartclean but be aware that there is a learning curve and the manual is not as thorough as it could be. e.g. the invisible wall only functions when the unit is running ( I thought I might have bad batteries!!)

Suction isn t as strong as my other robot. But this one...

I found this one lacking in suction to another robot I have, one that also wet mops. Which is a plus. My other also has a remote which is handy. This unit however wins by a mile for ease of cleaning after use. The other unit was so difficult, it was left to collect dust. I had bought the same other model for my mother in law ( 88 years old) and gave it to one of my kids instead because of the cleaning difficulties . Impressed... SmartClean Robotic Vacuum...

I tried it out on indoor/outdoor type carpet and could not beleive how much dirt it picked up... but it did get stuck a few times in tight areas and I had to help it... Overall I loved it...

No good with pet hair or carpets

I have to say I was very exited to get this product. The thought of something doing the work for me is great. But I was a little disappointed. This product is not for carpets at all. That's not a horrible thing, because there are plenty of hard wood floors in my house. But it doesn't do well with long pet hair either. The pet hair just gets bunched up outside the waist trap compartment. So the waist trap will be almost completely empty when all is said and done. Also, the vacuum doesn't fit betw...

Not good for pet hair

Returning. Roller falls out of one of them. Neither one picks up pet hair well. Wish they worked better and that the one didn't come with a detective roll bar.

I think it works just as I expected. Perfect for my house cause of ceramic floors. Can go over low pile rugs just fine. I have one shag type that is struggles with, but I really did not expect it to be able to do that one anyway. I love the way it goes back to base when needed. And lets me know when to empty the dust cup. I would recommend and buy again! Thanks Bissell!

I have 4 cats and a dog and was having to vacuum daily or more. I was very excited to try out the new SmartClean Robotic Vac, and overall I am very satisfied with my purchase. Works Well In Certain Places

On hard floors it works fairly well. It has some trouble close to walls but overall its fairly thorough. On low pile, light color carpeting it works well but has trouble getting itself onto area and oriental rugs because its wall sensor is lot, it hits the edge of the higher rugs. If you have dark carpeting then do not buy it. It mistakes the dark color for having nothing below its sensors, like it was approaching steps, and will just go backwards, run into something and get stuck. Its main brus...

I like it!

I've only used it once so far. It picked up a lot of dog hair and it transitioned well from tile to carpet. It did get stuck on the fringe on an area rug but the fringe was long. I'll just pick up that rug next time. I do wish the instruction manual had more detail. I thought I was missing the filter, since the instructions listed that as one of the parts I should have. Luckily, I read the box and saw that the filter was not a part. I found the filter was already inserted in the dirt receptacle....

First robot vacuum

This is my first robot vacuum and i love it. I have had it for 2 weeks now, I have three dogs and a cat so i have it run everyday and all i do is empty the bin when i get home. I have hard wood floors with area rugs and it cleans it all except the one black entry mat. It also knows not to go down the stairs. Love it!!

Awesome!

We love this machine! It starts up and cleans every room every day. It keeps finding more dust and dirt that I never imagined was there!
