I was hisitant to buy robot cleaner. Got it at very reasonable price. Love the way I can do a lot of other chores while Robbie is cleaning my floors. I thing Robbie love to eat cat hairs. Make me happpy that I don't have to vacum a couple time a week. I really haven't used my Kirby vacumn sine Robbie came to live with me. Very happy. So, honestly I loved Babette when I purchased her. Initially she kept up with the Miss Lulus pet hair. She was also great at entertaining her which is no ease feat with Border Collie. But, after such a short time Babette could not hold a charge. So, I had to replace her cord, then I needed to replace the bristles and then the roller. Some days are better than others

Would Recommend

I have the vacuum set to clean five days a week. Some days it does great getting itself back to the charging dock and other days I shake my head in disgust. Some days it seems to navigate great and then becomes stupid. It's like a toddler at least two days. However, I am impressed with the cleaning ability and after three weeks the battery seems to be holding up. Time will tell.

Years ago I had one that cost a lot more and it didn't last a year. The battery went dead and it was to expensive to replace. If I needed another I would buy another SmartClean by Bissell

Short battery life

Had the vacuum on year and the battery quit charging. They no longer make the battery and offered us an alternative battery for $80 and said they were unsure how long this replacement battery would last and offered us 20% off of a new and improved machine at $313, if I am getting a new machine, it will be from a different company.

Only lasts one year and customer service rep was rude

I have loved this vac but for the product to only last one year for the amount of money is unrealistic. It will not charge and the display flickers. Bissell says I'm two weeks out of warranty and if I can send a receipt ( even though they see a record of my husbands purchase) they will see what they can do? Is a record of purchase not a receipt? The rep was so rude to me and left me on hold forever . I loved it but won't be buying another one to last only a year.

It does clean good if it doesn't get stuck pretty noisy. Ours was a gift for Christmas when put on auto couldn't find way back to charger even sometimes on half hour manual couldn't get home. Called Bissell 5 times finally going to send us another one. Found out the ones kids bought was on shelf for over a year so we had to get receipt from them to return.

I do not recommend this product at all. I do have a cat but It barely sheds hair. I received as a gift, used regularly, cleaned regularly. Overtime, hair and dirt get into the brush bearing and clog it up and now brush does not want to go back in. It's happened to me twice the second one only used 3 times.

when it works, it does fine. however, it shouldn't break twice in less than a year. they replaced it the first time but now won't replace it again because i don't have a receipt... it has been ALMOST A YEAR! how to you expect me to save the receipt. you have a record of my purchase on file and a record of the first replacement. you shouldn't require the receipt again. my husband bought this vacuum for Christmas 2017. with in 15 days for having it, it stopped working but we still had the store warranty so we brought it back and they replaced it with a new one.But it constantly gets clogged up and has a hard time going from a rug to hard wood floors.we have had to replace the brushes about 6 months into it and they need replacing again. it gets stuck on everything chairs, bar stools ect..
