The first was in 2017, and we are extremely satisfied with the performance and longevity of the Crosswave. But, as all things man-made they do wear out. Since the wife has been so impressed by the first unit on our wooden floors and minimal carpet, she wanted another Crosswave. Overall, 5-star for the Crosswave and cleaning products. No complaints. Correction it didn't keep anything sucked in. It picked it up and put it down some place else on the carpet. And using it wet...I had to replace a soggy, smelly carpet. Never again.

I keep a clean house but if the filthy sludge water I poured out is any indicator of how it cleans then it did a really good job! Not really suitable for the bathrooms because not able to get in spaces that tight but I used it on luxury vinyl plank through the rest of the house.

I have an older cat that has "issues" and at least once a week I need to clean up after her. Pulling out my Bissell steam cleaner is more than what I need but the Crosswave is quick to set up/clean up and the carpet mess is cleaned in minutes. The carpet is dry in no time. If you can get the switch to work, it is a good machine.

I cleaned the floors without flooding the hardwood with water. Then the switch began to fail. It would not turn off. I would have to shake the handle to make it vacuum. I thought it was sticking. It now will not turn off.
