This product was a piece of trash. It fell apart within 15 minutes. I would not recommend it to anybody.

It's a pump not a siphon

This product is mislabeled as it is not a siphon. It is a good pump but requires pumping to continually flow water. Works well as a transfer pump. It is well made. But if you were looking for a siphon. Keep looking.

Handle broke on second use

Purchased to use at then end of boat season to transfer leftover gas out of our sailboat's 3 gallon gas tank. Worked great fall 2016. Stored the pump in our basement. This season after three to four pumps the black handle broke off, the connection between the plastic handle and metal rod fell apart.

It works

I bought this thinking that lawnmower oil changes would be less messy, not so true. I think I will stick with just tipping the mower on it's side into my drip pan and not worry about cleaning the pump and the hose.

The coiled up tube does not straighten out and does not reach the bottom of the gas tank that I was trying to drain. It has not served the purpose for which it was purchased.

Good pump for the "buck"

Bought this pump because I needed to siphon gas from my truck, but, I didn't want to spend a lot of money. I was a LITTLE skeptical because it looks "cheap". Have to admit, the pump did do the job. Just needed to modify it a bit so the hose would reach the bottom of the tank. Would definitely recommend this pump.

worked perfectly best 14 bucks I could have spent

Right out of the box, assembled and siphoned off 5 quarts of transmission fluid in 10 minutes. I was super satisfied with the performance.

It just did not extract the oil from the lawnmower as I had hoped.

Great Siphon Pump

Had to drain the gas out of my motorcycle tank and it worked great! No problems! Very easy to use, great price for the product and I recommend it!

Did the job

Easy to use. Additional attachments gave more variety of uses.

Not worth it

I bought this in the fall and drained the gas from my lawnmower with no issue. This spring I went to use it for the second time and nothing happens. I followed all directions in regards to cleaning and prepping with oil. Can't really take it apart to fix it either so seems like I'm throwing it away after one use.

Gas Pump Siphon

Worked great but no way to hold it without getting some gas on your hands or clothes. Be careful when removing the hose when you are done

Useless Junk

Total transfer distance is around 2 feet before hose length is surpassed! "Designed" for gas, but if you use it for gas or oil, you have to clean it out and pump engine oil through it or it will die a fast death. Don't bother. Returned same day!

I was able to get around 10 pumps in one sitting before it died.

I used it to drain the exces transmission oil from my vette and was perfectttttt!!!!!

WORKS GREAT

Needed to remove old gas from a tiller and a pressure washer. The instructions mentioned priming which on past pumps has been a pain to get started, but it self primed within two strokes. It worked great and was well worth the money. Due to the packaging, the tubing is curled up which took a little more effort to get it in the correct location (especially when you are by yourself) - but that was minor. I need to store it with the intake tubing straight for future uses. Highly recommended

Don't buy this product to siphon gasoline!

Do not buy this product to siphon gasoline. The glue used to hold the pump together dissolves after pumping gasoline. Gas starts spurting out the edges of the pump. Very dangerous!
