Would Not RecommendThis item is very low quality. The concept is good but the product is not. As others have said, the orange tube is kinked inside the packaging which makes and siphoning effort tasking.

Would RecommendThe pumps works well when you replace the orange hose. My hose was folded in the box and I can't get the kinks out of it. I had to buy new hose than the pump worked.

Would RecommendSaved me and my husband a ton of time. Our washing machine was leaking really bad underneath it so we bought this pump to save us time while washing our cloths. Before we were using a turkey baster! LOL Great quality, great price! Would recommend this product no doubt!!!

Looks Good, BUT . . .
Would Not Recommend. . . doesn't work worth a darn penny. I don't know what the problem is with this pump. Put the hoses on, stuck the top hose into the car tank, put the bottom hose into a 5 gal. tank on the ground, pumped like crazy, and not a drop came out. Pulled out the hose that went into the car tank and the end was, in fact, wet from the gas. Piece of junk. Don't buy it.

Would Not RecommendWhat a waste of money this was. I used it to try to siphon motor oil from a car engine, but it could not develop enough vacuum. The hose also does not attach securely to the pump body, and the pressure from pumping the oil ended up blowing the hose right off, spraying motor oil all over my garage. I tossed this in the trash.
Fair Product on Day One, Not So Much After...
Would Not RecommendProduct worked great the first day. Used it to siphon and move over 45 gallons of fuel from one broken down truck to vehicles that were still in service in our yard. However, after the first day the pump lost suction. Seems like a quality issue. Its easy to use, but not worth the aggravation if it only works once. Returned it the second day.

used twice before failure
Would Not Recommendused this twice to pump out gas from a lawnmower. washed imm. after each use. glue (seal) at top fell apart and the metal discs are rusting already !!!! Good idea but poor quality !!!
Cant beat it for the price
Would RecommendCant beat it for the price. Just tried it right out of the box , and it works great. I will follow up after a couple weeks. All I can say is "When all else fails, read instructions" as simple as they are .... slide the black connectors on the hose prior to inserting the hose's into the pump. Pay attention as to which hose is INTAKE and which hose is DISCHARGE.
Great little pump for the money
Would RecommendGreat little pump for small jobs, easy to use. This is a replacement for the same pump that I had for several years and plumb wore out! The local stores were out of stock, so I ordered it online, and was extremely surprised when it was delivered within only a couple of days.

Would Not RecommendThe principle seems reasonable but it just doesn't work.The plunger is impossible to operate,because of very high stiction probably due to the inner "o' ring too tight to the inside cylinder and/or the pumping shaft also too tight.
