Entry level front loader, no deluxe features

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought 3-15-2023 to replace GE which broke after a year and a half, due to poor Chinese workmanship and materials - I have pictures! The Amana is comparable in size but the controls are a thin plastic strip with small numbers and diagrams. BEST FEATURE is a true 15 minute small load cycle. That really works.

Shake, rattle and roll

This is without a doubt, the worst $900 I've ever spent. Bought this 2 years ago to replace a 15 year old Whirlpool that finally just gave up. From the first day no one, not me, not 2 service techs, no one, could get this machine to stop shaking like a dog pooping peach seeds. Walked all over the floor, turns it self off from vibrating, etc. Call customer service, nothing. Level front to back with 2 (count them) 2 ASCS certified levels according to the service techs. Not gonna happen. Bottom lin...

would not recommend if you have pets

all in all not a bad washer. but if you have pets beware. the drain filter gets clogged constantly,3 times in the last 6 months, and no easy way to clean it. You have to disconnect everything, flip it on its side, struggle to get the hose clamp off, use any finger that will get in there to clean it out, struggle to get the clamp back on, flip it upright and reconnect everything. A pain it is.

Nice Washer

It's also pretty quiet, which is appreciated because it's located in a small utility room just outside our main living space. My only complaint is the HUGE door on both my washer and dryer(seems as though they were huge on all the washer/dryer combos we checked out). Why so big? Has displayed error codes every month

I got this in September 2020. It has a mind of it’s own. It runs great for a few weeks and then I have one error code after another. I am the only person using this so I thought it would have a decent life span. I get so irritated with error codes and it getting out of balance when I do jeans or towels. I am replacing the entire set next week.

Not worth the money

I bought this washer in 2020 - installed in early 2021 - by October of 2021 I had an issue with the washer not draining properly We called amana and we were barely within the manufacturers warranty so they sent someone out. The repair place replaced the control board and performed maintenance for us. A year later we had the same problem - suspecting we were out of warranty we looked online for the error codes and found it was most likely the drain trap. - The drain trap is behind the front panel...

So-so washer; clothes not being cleaned.

I’m not sure what is supposed to be on there? Numbers?? Repair man came out(no charge thankfully) and has to come back because he had to order part. Other than that it works good. An entry level front loader.

Front loader at a minimum price. Does not have settings to wring out towels. Hard to balance the machine. Only a one year warranty!
