DO NOT BUY!!!

Pure garbage. Had this foe 3 years. There must be a secret weight for it to wash. Keep getting told to add garments every load. When you can't stuff anymore in, you are still told to add garments. When you somehow get it to wash, it will not drain properly and you have to run the spin and drain cycle on top of the regular cycle.

Same day of delivery, same day the washer shut off and never turned back on. 3 days now waiting for a call back from Lowe’s to get it fix or get another one.

Great capacity

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The load capacity is good. I can add my comforter, and it washes great. The problem I'm having is using the preprogrammed settings. There is not much option to change the wash times, which seems useless. If I want to use a wash cold for 30 minutes, but you force me to use it for 1.5 hours, it is a waste of time. Hey, at least it does its job, I guess.

Lowes are thieves

After they dropped off the machine I went to put laundry detergent in and pulled out the little drawer area and it had mold in it. I called the delivery driver back immediately and said you need to come exchange this because it’s not brand new. He said he would submit something in to Lowe’s. In the meantime, I put bleach in and soap for one load just to try to clean out the machine I really needed to do one load of laundry but I didn’t want to put clothes in with mold so I ran it empty to clean ...

I love the washer after i got one that worked.

It drains off and on even when not being used.

The washer keeps draining. It will quit for awhile then it starts draining again, and no laundry has een washed. It is very loud in the bedroom next to the laundry room

Great Washer!

My washer had seen better days, so decided to go ahead and buy the matching washer. Glad we did! We really like all the simple features it has! It should last for quite a while as Amana has beein in business for many, many years!

kept leaking

Worst machine ever, leaks everywhere

Brand new machine has leaked since day one. It is less than a year old. We’ve had a Whirlpool technician out for warranty 5 times, and it is still leaking. We’re not talking an insignificant amount of water, it’s doing damage. We have followed all of the Whirlpool technician’s instructions including run the Clean Machine cycle with Affresh and running everything without detergent. 2nd run on the same load with no detergent didn’t suds at all but still leaked. Piece of Garbage

This washer does not have a drain pump filter so it requires a high priced technician to replace the drain pump. Aman gets your money with the initial purchase and they continue to get your money anytime the machine stops working properly. My washer wont drain or spin and I canèt clean out the drain filter because there is none which practically ensures the drain pump will need to be changed if any dirt or debris gets into it.
