Received mu first weather station about 5 years ago as a gift. Before the year was up, the outdoor temperature was inaccurate. (Too high). Called the company; they asked me to listen to the outdoor unit for the fan whirling. It was not. Company was great and sent me a new unit. Bought the model 06003M Pro+ upgrade and installed it on the replacement unit. After a few months over a year, nothing accurate. On very hot days, it would show temps of 110-115 when the actual temperature was in the 90's...

Don't pay extra for the rain gauge

About 3/4 of the time, I never know how much it rained. If we are at work or asleep and it quits raining for an hour and the barometer changes slightly it dumps the numbers. Then all I know is how much it has rained this month or this year. I could care less about this month or year, means nothing when trying to determine if it's too wet after a rain to mow or do other tasks around the place. Great While it Worked

I have had one for three years. Worked great for two. Then the wind speed arms fell off. Then the humidity indicator became semi-operative. Then the rain gauge became inaccurate. Needs better materials for longer life. So, Spend $100 and enjoy two years of correct function. Not bad at $4.17 a month I guess.

Good at-home weather station

Quick, easy setup. Disappointed in the mounting system, but other than that this is a great little home weather system.

Almost perfect weather station

This is the 4th weather station I've purchased in 10 years. They just do not seem to hold up very well. But this one appears to be a winner. Everything is contained in a single unit. Extremely reiiable and accurate

This is among best purchases that I've made. After shopping the market three years ago I selected this model and it's reliable and accurate. I use it at my winter home and like it so much that every spring I take it to my summer home on the east side of a lake. It has taken a beating in both locations and has never disappointed me. Great gift!!

We received this as a Christmas gift in 2014. It's been a year and it is still holding up great. It's nice to know how much it has rained without having to go outside and look at a gauge. We also love the wind and temperature feature. This product will do so much more but these are the few things we mainly use it for and it has met our needs well. We just purchased one for a family member because we loved ours so much.

good weather station.

You could call me a weather fanatic because I like to know the temperature outside, wind speed, wind direction, and precipitation amount and rate. This station measures all these and records them so I can keep track daily. It was simple to hookup. You just have to make sure both the sensor and receiver are set the same so they communicate with each other. The wind cups seem a bit flimsy but they are only $5 to replace so I will see how long they last in the Colorado sun, wind, and hail.

This is my second year with this station and it still works perfectly! Survived a straight line wind gust that took Down the fence it was on, survived 3 weeks of solid ice and is as accurate as ever! Can't go wrong with this one! Outstanding product!

Acu-Rite 01515

Replaced for old station that was losing some of the features. This one has all those plus some new ones. Very easy setup. Will see how replacing the batteries in the field will pan out, being underneath the unit. Think a pack that could be changed out would be better. Don't know of any pros or cons yet.

Having wasted money on two different La Crosse weather stations I decided to give Acu Rite a try. I read multiple reviews on Amazon, Lowes and some independent web sites. Most of the reviews were favorable so I made the plunge. Assembly was easy. You will need 10 AA batteries (6 for the monitor and 4 for the outside device). There is a Wall wart to power the monitor. Good weather station

Only one drawback. The rain fall for the day clears at midnight, so if you had any rain in the night after bedtime, it will be gone when you wake up in the morning. It records a running total of rain fall. Wish you could keep the daily totals somewhere.

I know weather!

This unit lets me know the amount of rain per storm or how much for the month. I can tell which direction the wind comes from and how fast. This five in one unit is good for the home owner that likes to keep informed about the weather without turning on the television. The hardest thing about this unit is to determine a location that you can observe it and keeping the squirrels away.

Weather Station

I've had this product for about 2 weeks now and is working great so far. Went ahead and spent the extra money for a quality weather station. Very easy to install on a post on my privacy fence. Just make sure that it's pointing North and level. Has also performed well during heavy summer winds and rain. I also recommend keeping it out of reach of small children to avoid damage.
