Good basic weather station

The all-in-one transmitter is very well designed. The instructions are very clear where NOT to place it in order to get reliable readings. There is no computer interface. It is difficult to get the high/low from the previous day. It does have the high/low records and states the date it occurred. It has not rained so I cannot tell how well the reading reflect the actual event. Has many options for mounting. The best place is away from paved surfaces and any tall structure (house, tree, etc). Fun for the Family

Product has preformed without a problem and this was a Christmas gift. Instructions were step by step and as long as you follow them it works gret. Or a a guy "I don't need a stinking manuel" it does not work. READ THE INSTRUCTIONS AS WRITTEN!!! As a long weather hobbiest this provides a full service for fun with the weather.

Great so far

Purchased yesterday and is working with no errors and no surprises. Easy to install. Easy to read the display. Seems to be accurate. No problem with manuals. Just cannot give 5 stars till I own it longer to see how long the batteries last in sensor. Crawling up on the roof every few weeks wouldn't be fun. Second Accurite Product. NO Better Than First One

About five years ago, we bought an Accurite weather station for our home. Installed the wind gauge and the temperature/barometric pressure/humidity devices. Nice product for Amateur meteorologist

I had purchased another Acu-Rite weather station from a different store and unit did not operate properly so I exchanged it. Same problem with the 2nd unit not registering Outside Humidity correctly. 2nd no better than 1st

This Christmas gift had to be returned. The touch screen never worked properly, and despite many machinations (changed already new batteries), resets, etc., the touch screen finally quit functioning all together. Touchscreen buttons do not work. Unable to program

I guess I got a bad one. Just bought this weather station after reading the good reviews that were on the Lowes site. Unfortunately the touchscreen buttons did not work correctly. Sometimes it does not respond to your touch and other times it acts as if you are holding down the button and constantly cycles between screens. A Great Item for Weather Buffs

I like keeping up with the weather. I even keep track of the weather on my computer and find this a great item for doing so. It took me a little while to realize you just need to barely touch it to set it or change the menu.So far I`m very pleased with it. I like the power pack and the solar panel to help save on the batteries.

Great Weather Station for the Money.

I've had this unit for about a month and very pleased. Setup took less than 15 minutes. I have been through a couple weather stations and this one is the best so far. My wife rolls her eyes every time I get a new weather station. The forcast seems accurate to me. I have compared readings to local stations and they are comparable. The weather ticker is fun to read. I'll probably purchase the internet bridge after the holidays. Great gadget to annoy the wife. I highly recommend.

Great gift for weather nerds

I purchased this for my partner and she loved it! However I am the installer and did not have fun doing the attaching. I think it should have had pre drilled holes. It is hard to stand on a ladder and reach over a fence and hold the aparatus then to try to put the screws in! Other than that it was a very user friendly item.

AcuRite 01515

I installed this on a ten foot pole above my deck. Directions for mounting were a bit sketchy but use your own judgement on how and where to mount and it falls into place. My temp readings mesh well with a simple Oregon Scientific unit I have and with the AcuRite it replaced. The previous unit had a wind cup snap off after a Downy Woodpecker decided to have at it. Does a great job

For the price has been great. Will know better when I see how it lasts. Also has not been through the 50 mph winds I get on the mountain in the winter, but has measured a 31 mph gust without problem. Really enjoying it so far.

Beware of Acu-Rite!

In 12/10 I purchased an Acu-Rite model 00825 "Deluxe Weather Station". 3 months later the wireless wind indicator sensor failed. They sent a new one which failed 11 months later. Now Acu-Rite tells me (after spending $100 on this unit only 14 months ago) that it is no longer made and they don't have parts for it anymore, so "you are out of luck."

Knowing the true weather is awesome!

It has been a great gift for my Son-In-Law..... he is enjoying this unit to know everything from temp-humidity - wind speed...... I would recommend the Wireless Digital Weather Thermometer to anyone with an interest! I even enjoy checking it out from time to time! :)

Pretty Good Unit

I've had this about two weeks now. Everything is working just fine so I'm very happy with this. Three minor critiques are that: 1) mounting instructions for the sensor/transmitter are only helpful if you have a flat deck rail to mount the base on. I didn't so I had to be creative. 2) Difficult to see the screen.
