NEVER USE THIS PRODUCT
Would Not RecommendHad this professionally applied to an older deck. It looks nice when put on. The problem is that it shows every little speck of dirt, footprint, etc.! I cannot put into words how disappointed I am in this product. I do not even know why it was designed. You cannot use the surface you apply it on, without ruining it. A soft-bristle brushing is useless, the stains will just reappear the next time you walk on it.

Horrible
Would Not RecommendI just applied this it has a very dull look to it and doesn’t seem to repeal water very well . Spent to much money to try to remove it and start over and it’s a dark oak which is really a very dark brown and it leaves dirt marks everywhere you or your pet walks on it very disappointed I will never use Cabot again

Would Recommend[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought the Cabot deck correct to put a textured new look to our old look. This product covered very well with just the first coat on! And the texture in it works very well!

Great result
Bought 10 gallons on Deck Correct from my local Lowes, my deck had some old stain that needed to be removed. Prep is very important, i.e. make sure the deck is completely dry before and after application. I applied it as thick as i could. So far i'm very pleased with the look.

Old Deck With A New Life
Would Recommend[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased this product to revive our old deck that had NEVER been treated by the prior owners. DeckCorrect made the floorboards, rails, steps, all look like a much newer porch and deck and gray color we chose added beauty and appeal. Some areas were in much worse shape than others but this product lived up to its name!!

Total Disappointment
Would Not RecommendI am very disgusted in the longevity of this product. I used this on two separate decks and the product was lifting after one season one both decks. In both instances, the decks were power-washed and had more than sufficient time to dry before coating and I also made sure the temperature was over 70 degrees in both instances. One deck even had new treated boards that were allowed to cure for one year before coating and it still lifted off. Such a shame as I had high hopes for a product that w...

Regretting
Would Not RecommendVery disappointed, we bought 6 gallons of this product. After power washing and letting it dry for two days then sweeping any loose debris off, we proceeded to apply the product. Application was easy using an 3/8” nap roller and had no issues. The problems are, after applying the first coat, then 8 hours later the second coat, within 4 days we had some places that were peeling. And dirt / mud does not wash off easily. We purchased a light color and now regret it, you have to scrub the deck w...

Deck went from looking worn to looking new!
Would Recommend[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Used correct a deck Cabot and was pleasantly surprised. The deck was first power washed ( as it was a mess) then the application of Cabot Correct a deck was seamless. The deck took on a fresh new look!

Beware - color chart is not accurate
Would Not RecommendCabot, with all of the negative reviews on poor color matching, you should be ashamed that you have not fixed this by now. Our experience was exactly what others have said. Victory Grey looks light blue instead. Not even close to the color chart in the store and not a color anyone would knowingly paint their deck! Can’t speak to product longevity yet, but this was our first and last purchase of this product.

Very unhappy with the product
Bought this product 2 years ago and now it is peeling off. This product was too expensive to only last basically 2 years and this is what happened by the 3rd summer

IMPOSSIBLE TO REMOVE
Would Not RecommendI put Deck Correct on 2 years ago. It began to flake off in certain places, so I decided to switch back to regular stain. I have tried 3 different strippers including the Cabot stripper. It is IMPOSSIBLE TO REMOVE!!! I have spent hundreds of dollars to try and solve this problem.

What a great product. Great textured finish.
Would RecommendI spent 3 days stripping my 12 year old deck then sanding. Bleaching & power washing was next. Yesterday I applied the new cedar deck correct and a dark brown perimeter from a competitor.

Best deck protection out there
Would Recommend[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've used Cabot products for many years and won't use anything else. I live in Arizona and I have 2 large decks almost 20 years old and they still look great thanks to Cabot. Deck Correct is awesome.

Great stain for old deck
Would Recommend[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I didn’t have the money to replace our older deck. It was still sturdy it just looked bad! I cleaned it, sanded it and applied Deck Correct and it looks amazing! I will be using Cabot products on our other porch in the spring!

Long lasting, great coverage for old decks.
Would Recommend[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The online professional painters said there's no way a product like DeckCorrect would last. I tried it anyway on a badly worn-out, 25-year-old pressure-treated deck (south side of a house, direct sun all year, Wisconsin). I did a thorough cleaning and sanding to rough up the deck before application. DeckCorrect pours like a milkshake and covers well. It looked great immediately afterward, and stayed looking great for at least 5 years (I sol...
