Worth the higher price
Would RecommendIt's getting cold here and the mini-split isn't installed yet so I wanted a primer that worked in lower temperatures. Zinsser says Bulls Eye 1-2-3 is good down to 35 degrees. It works really well: easy to roll or brush and goes on smooth. So far I've used it on bare drywall, bare wood, painted wood, and metal corner bead, all with good results.

Would Not Recommendkilz is a little more money but covers so much better. this stuff paints like it's watered down. seeing a product thinking I can save a few bucks and end up spending more in the long run. lesson learned.

Didn't work
Would Not RecommendIt didn't do what it was advertised to do. When I removed the painter's tape, much of the paint which was supposed to stick because of this product, didn't stick. It was not a good primer and I returned the remainder for a refund.

Excellent product!
Would Recommend[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm a builder and LOVE Bull's Eye! I use this as a primer and it's excellent. The smell is not great, but the product definitely is. Works on multiple surfaces and dries quickly. My painter refuses to use anything else. Great for covering up anything.

Primer works fine. LID SUCKS
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 6 year old son decided to use a hammer on the middle the plastic lid, so it does not seal anymore since there is a big hole in the middle. And even worse, I tried getting a metal paint can lid to replace it, and it does not even fit the can. I am sad that the company is cheaping out on the lids.
