Would RecommendCoverage is excellent. Used it over old drywall that used to be covered with "orange peel" texture. After sanding off the texture, I was left with 50-year-old drywall that soaked up the primer. The 1-2-3 primer left a great smooth surface for the paint. Walls did/will need to get hit up with another coat of primer over the filled patch holes. Piece of cake. I'm renovating the whole house by removing the texture, and I need all the "help" I can get.
