Ratings & Reviews for WORX Power Share 40-volt max 13-in Straight Shaft Battery String Trimmer Edger Conversion Capable 2 Ah (Battery Included) (Charger Included)

Weedeater

Bought this for a new house wit more yard to care for. Had a 20V that did good on small yard but no so on larger. Has great power and longevity of battery use.

Not Really

I have received, assembled, and tested the WORX 184 trimmer. Contrary to what the Lowe's spec says and what the "chat" representative insists is the case, it is not a dual-string trimmer but rather a single-string trimmer, and is not adjustable. Mine is going back to Lowe's.

I had the smaller one before and I loved it this is harder for me to handle cause I am so short

I life in Texas and this edger is great for edgin

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had it for about a month and now that I have it all edged it's super easy to keep it that way

Not what is advertised

Lowes website spec sheet says the Worx WG184 is a dual-line trimmer. One comment said that it was single line trimmer. I called "chat" to confirm the spec sheet, and they checked with techs and confirmed that the spec sheet is correct, that it is a dual-line trimmer. I have received the trimmer ordered, and it most assuredly is NOT dual line, but single-line trimmer.

Edges good with wheels included.

Worked beautifully. Had plenty of power to edge and trim my entire yard without recharging batteries. 1/3 acre.

Very good for a battery operated trimmer

Assembly was very easy. Surprisingly well powered for a battery operated trimmer. For regular edging and trimming I think this tool hits the mark. In parts of my yard that I have not stayed on top of, it didn’t have the power of my corded Stihl trimmer and I did end up pulling that out to use the more challenging areas. However, I think for most if my quarter acre yard this will be my go-to trimmer edger. The wheels make a huge difference if you have back or shoulder pain.

Great power from 13” string trimmer

I love worx products. They are easy to use & make my yard look so good!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great trimmer - light weight.

Trimmer/ Edger

A great edger! And oh yeah it trims like a dream! Best dual purpose tool i own. I can’t wait for Spring ro come back around

Works very well.

It works great. Charge lasted enough for me to do my lawn more than once. My only complaint is the trimmer line breaks/wears out quickly. My old craftsman gas trimmer line lasted the whole job. This one needs to be let out several times per use.

Best Trimmer ever!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my third Worx Trimmer and won't go back!

Great edger and trimmer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the power of the trimmer and edger

Easy to use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It is a very sturdy and powerful tool. I am happy I purchased it.

Ran !0 minutes then died

Did the research. This trimmer had good reviews. But, it didn't last 10 minutes then just died. It had fully charged batteries. The frustrating part is I had to wait for the trimmer, then didn't know it came with no batteries or charger like the 20v says it does. So, drove to Lowes and got the batteries. But, they had no charger. Had to wait for that to be delivered. Finally, I'm all excited to try out my new trimmer...sshhh...that the sound of me being deflated as it dies in under 10 minute...

Great tool but one issue

I’ve owned the WG184 for just over a year now. Probably used it a total of 10 times. Overall I’ve been pleased with its functionality, strength, and ability to trim and edge my lawn. The battery lasts about long enough for me to do the job. It’s also much easier to use than other gas and corded trimmers I’ve owned. I liked it so much that this year I bought the cordless blower which also works great. My only complaint is that the string cover has already broken. I would think this would last lon...

This is so easy to use!

We bought this because I had a Worx trimmer years ago and we lost it while moving. This is much easier to use. Love it!

Great whip

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So light and super easy

Pour switches

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I found the trigger and safety a royal pain. The trigger should be all that’s necessary. Commercially working the safety switch is cumbersome. Had to improvise to make the tool workable. I have 5 gas trimmers 3 electric trimmers and 3 battery trimmers always looking for better equipment

Fantastic

I bought this because I have banks on both sides of my property that I have to weed whack and the adjustable head works awesome. Love the product
