Too many things to go wrong

Had a few other minor problems...but the Command Feed stopped working after the two year warranty. Can't get any help on what the problem is other than "it's out of warranty" so I guess you use these products until they quit and throw them away?

Perfect for me

As I’m currently waiting for shoulder surgery I am unable use the pull cord on our gas trimmer. I got this trimmer so I can still help my husband with yard work. This machine is perfect for me and really easy to use. Being only 5’ 1” I find this trimmer very handy to use.

Owned since 2020 (5 years). Very dissapointed that during normal use, the handle broke right above the trigger today!!!

Like the tool it self, but the batteries drains out to fast.

The power of a gas operated trimmer

I’ve been using WORX trimmers and other battery powered tools for over 15 years. The products are amazing providing the convenience battery. No need for gas, Oil or spark plugs. The WG184 provides the user with the option of trimming and edging in seconds. The loading of string that’s pre wound is a breeze to do.

Powerful, easy to use, and great design

I've had this for several years now and I love the power (and that it's variable), I love the design and features, especially for edging the driveway. The one thing I don't like is the nylon used in the spool; it's tends to break inside the housing while I'm edging. Not sure if it's a quality control issue (wound too tight) but it's extremely annoying to have to stop, get the pliers, find the end, and feed it though again. But, I think this is a problem that most edgers/trimmers have.

WG184 40V Need a Compression Spring Replacement

Hi, the compression spring has gone missing and the line feeder doesn't work now. I've looked everywhere for a replacement and can't find one. Can you all sell me a new WG184 40V Compression Spring?

Just quit running

Purchased in 2020 - worked great until yesterday when it just quit with 4 bars of charge left. Now there is no response to the trigger pull. Is there a fuse somewhere that can be replaced?

Very Disappointed.Delayed start and line feed.

Looked good on paper, real world usage not so good. There is a 2-3 second delay after pressing start. Same thing when feeding the line. My previous Worx trimmer ran instantly as soon as I pressed start and was half the price. Very disappointed in this model. I cannot return due to it being purchased over the winter and just being able to use it now since its summer. I DONT recommend this model. Not sure how it got so many 5 star reviews. I had one 3yrs ago and was familiar with this particular one so when it broke I just purchased the same one.

the two batteries required gether to use item only lasted on about 10 min.

Great power! Heavier than expected.

Power is fantastic! Even cut through thick-stemmed weeds. However, it's much heavier than my previous trimmer. I believe it will be fine with a shoulder strap, which I plan to purchase. I wish the shaft could be adjusted, but again, I think the shoulder strap will help solve this issue.

Major downgrade from previous 40 V trimmer/edger

Got this model to replace previous unit as after several years as it would over heat and need to cool off to run and the battery finally died. New model is much more difficult to use. Switching from edging to trimming on the old unit required a single twist of the trimmer head. The new unit requires rotating the hand grip and then adjusting the head angle. The head adjustment requires a lot of force, using your foot, and it is bound to break the plastic detents at some point. I have yet to find ...

Would not buy again

Needs a decent manual, not one with tiny drawings that are extremely hard to figure out. This was my 5th Worx tool and probably my last due to the frustration involved.

No parts ,no parts ,not even a parts breakdown

I have had the wg184 trimmer for a number of years with no trouble then the spool advance broke cannot find the part any where. would be 5 star if parts were available.

Great features with questionable quality

Like the features and run time. The quality of the line does not hold up to even just normal trimming. Even after ordering refills it's the same quality of line. It was also frustrating to have to stop trimming and refeed the line so it could be automatically feed. The line continually would snap off inside the spool. This happened on three spools received from Worx. Every few presses of the feed button I had to stop and feed the line. The motor gave out after three seasons. I have a half doz...

Safety issue

Trimmer works well but today I encountered a safety issue. When using as an edger if you push the button to extend the line the line that is cutoff will be among directly at your face. The motor rotates toward your body and the cutoff blade is at the top of the guard. The line that was cut off hit my lip and jaw creating a deep 1” long cut.
