Some good, some disappointing

The good - Light weight; easy to assemble, shipping was good, battery life seems good and trimmer is strong. The disappointing - Probably my mistake, but I thought I was ordering the trimmer that can also turn into an edger and I got the "fixed shaft" trimmer that is not designed for edging. I can still use it for that by turning it upside down, but not nearly as good. Most disappointing is the string doesn't feed well. Not my first trimmer, so I know how others have worked. Shaft length

Bought this in winter. Now spring can't return and it is so long I can't use. Shaft is not adjustable. Just adjustable handle if your tall. Made for 6 ft man, not balanced.

Blood, Sweat & Tears

I had a black & Decker Weed eater and the thing was a disaster. Couldn't get the spool wound right, poor battery life, and pretty heavy. Just dumped it. After using the WORX weed eater it worked pretty good! The battery life is just OK (works about a 1/4 lot) but when it dies it gives me a rest break to recharge it (about an hour) to finish up on my 1/2 acr...

Great Power!

I had the 20V Trimmer/Edger combo and after about 15 years decided to upgrade to the 40V. The power is amazing - I am able to trim and edge the yard with one charge. I like the feature of switching back and forth between edger and trimmer. I have many WORX yard tools and am very happy with the results!

String trimmer/edger

After using a couple of times,batteries are still almost fully charged,very user friendly,lite weight,very impressed with this trimmer.

Great potential

I’ve noticed the motor energy depletes after about 5 minutes usage. Battery still has full stars. I’ve tried to ask questions but unable to talk with anyone. Disappointed

Good and bad

I love the trimmer and how easy it is to use. However - it is advertised as a 'mini mower' as well and there is no way to attach the wheels as described. It would be very helpful getting under things in the yard if that worked as advertised.

It only comes with single outlet instead of dual

Overall the product was good. However it did not come as described. It was advertised as a dual trimmer when it only had one string. Very dissatisfied with that issue. I would’ve given it a higher rating but I don’t like buying something that is misrepresented by a wrong description.

A battery powered trimmer is extremely convenient!

Just used this this evening for the first time to take down some weeds around a barn. Too far away from an outlet for an electric trimmer, and too late in the evening for a loud gas powered trimmer. Worked perfectly.

Very quiet and great weed eater and edger. Battery is great

Light weight and powerful

I have used this once or twice to this point. The 40 v PowerShare is powerful enough to do the tard, although I have not tried all at one time. The head is adjustable to stay level with the ground and easy change between edging and walking. My biggest disappointment is the line release. I have not read the directions, but this is not bottom tap. I find myself constantly stopping and restarting to release line.

Disappointed

Ive had this for 3 years and am fed up. I like the Worx tools concept of one size battery for all my different tools. I origanally purchased the 20v string trimmer but found it went through a whole roll of string while doing my medium sized yard and I hoped the larger 40v 0.080 size string would do better but this trimmer cant go 6 feet without the string breaking off inside the trim head and I have to take the cover off and pull out a new length of string which ads a good 15 minutes to my trim...
