Make obnoxious noise

Makes an obnoxious growling/gurling noise several times a day. Repairmen tell me the frig is manufactured that way and they get lots of calls. Whirlpool will do nothing about it, nor will the extended warranty...so...if you don't mind living with it...sure...go ahead and buy it.

Doors seal up

Top freezer

Formidable

I bought the old model since 15 years and still working, I just need to know how much horse power it is.

Poor quality

Purchased April 2022, now the unit will not cool. The freezer does not go below 40 degrees and the fridge is at 60. Whirlpool will not do any thing about this since it 3 months past warranty. There quality in components is very poor. Replaced the thermostat, starter relay and the bimetal switch. Will not purchase a whirlpool product again.

The spacious shelves makes life easier for cooking

Same size and style as the old refrigerator. This one has bigger compartments on the door and has one more door shelf than the old one, so there's lots of room for condiments and jars. The only thing I don't like is that in the freezer the door shelf has too big a gap between the bottom and the front. A lot of things fall thro...

Relatively quiet operation-effecient

We moved from California in 2006 to Nevada with a 2004 Whirlpool washer and dryer, still working well when Nevada home sold in Febrfuary 2023, as were the 2006 Whirlpool refrigerator, dishwasher and stove. This whirlpool refrigerator came with a new house in New Mexico, as did the Whirlpool dishwasher, electric range and microwave. We would have preferred a larger mode...

inside freezer door

Whirlpool fridge

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We just moved into a new home and I was so excited to have a brand new refrigerator! I shopped around for months and thought I had asked all the right questions and was so excited about this purchase. The compressor NEVER stops running and it is so LOUD!!! Also, it had spots on the stainless when it arrived. I clean it and the spots come back. Fingerprints are a constant battle too!

Handle is NOT on the proper side.

No one asked me about the handle position..., and I did not notice the new one was on the wrong side until the delivery guy left. WHY is this not a standard question when receiving a new refrigerator?

Nice refrigerator

Great Choice
