Good and not so good things about this appliance

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought in July. Cannot get it to cool water, tea, and soft drinks to a cold enough temp. All research says temp inside fridge should be 37, 38 degrees. Cannot get to cool below 40, unless turned to coldest setting. Then other foods freeze.

Why so short?

Like an "old time" refrigerator

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We purchased this refrigerator as a replacement for a 5 year old Kenmore bottom freezer frig that had an LG compressor with a component (the compressor valve) that was known to fail. This Whirlpool was basically all we could find that would work for us. We don't like the top freezer as we often are on our hands and knees to find something on the bottom two shelves (getting old is not fun), but it is what it is. Functionally, it is a bit noisy, ...

Simplicity at its best

Call me old fashioned, but this fridge has exceeded everything I wanted. The freezer and fridge compartment its very spacious. 5 Stars all the way!

Perfect addition to our kitchen

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We purchased this fridge several months ago and are very happy with it. It’s deceptively large, strange wise, it hold so much. The shelves are drawers are great and easy to clean. The freezer is also spacious, my only critique is that the freezer door shelves have wide openings on the bottom so storing smaller things is an issue as they fall through the space. Average, but at least food is cold

Very spacious

I love the fact that it has a freezer light (maybe they all do now?) The sliding drawer is convenient, but somehow there’s not room for anything tall.
