Ratings & Reviews for Westinghouse iGen5000c Remote Electric Start 5000 Starting / 3900 Running Watt Gasoline Single Fuel Inverter Generator

Love remote start!

2nd time purchasing. Very happy with this purchase. Would recommend

Great product should have purchased earlier

I picked up a Westinghouse generator for motocross weekends and camping, and honestly, I couldn’t be happier with it. It fires right up, runs smooth, and is quiet enough that it doesn’t annoy anyone at the track or campsite. I use it to charge batteries, run lights, power tools, and even a mini fridge with no issues. The runtime is great — I don’t have to constantly worry about refueling — and being able to switch to propane is super convenient when gas isn’t easy to get. It’s solid, easy to rol...

Great features

Happy with purchase. Would recommend for future purchases.

Looks good

I just got out of the hospital and have not been able to get it ready and start it. Will do so after I recuperate.

Great Features

I just purchased the Generator. I've performed the 5 hour break in period as described in the owners manual. So far everything is operating as expected and I am happy with my purchase. The only draw back is the tight access location of the oil drain plug. It could be better positioned for easier access to change the oil.

Runs quiet

This generator runs much quieter than my previous generator. That will be great when camping next to other campers.

Pretty Sweet!

Works super well! Easy to set up. So far I am very pleased!!

Quiet and Powerful

I bought this to power my RV's AC unit. Powers up the entire camper (26 ft) with plenty more power. Time will tell on durability.

Garbage

Leaks gas all over after 2 weeks and no returns or replacement

IGen 5000c

Awesome product. Have used one in the past and had to get one of my own for emergencies

Igen 5000c in rv

have had this Generator for over a year 243 hours in our RV would run 2 AC's with soft start. or one AC with other items. I loved the remote start capability. set it plug it in use remote to turn off and on as needed. Traveled and boon docked with out issues.

It works

I just bought this generator. It was easy starting the first time and now we we’ll see how it does through hurricane season.

Great product, I would purchase

My sister purchased this item, then I got one, so far so good

Phenomenal product. Quiet and powerful

Works as advertised. Eco mode is super quiet. Awesome generator

cannot find aplace to buy another fob

It will not start a 15watt air compressor on the 30 amp circuit

So many perks at a very fair price point

compact yet beefy, this generator is awesome! The carrying handle is terrific and the dual fuel is perfect for those preppers out there. (Propane can be stored indefinitely)

Very Quite and love the remote starter

I bought this after going through a hurricane with a smaller and louder generator. I wanted something with more power and that wouldn't rattle the house or keep me awake all night. This is the perfect generator for a single guy. Ran 1 fridge, 1 freezer, 2 A/C units, and entertainment needs without an issue.

Good generators

This is our second Westinghouse & they both have been nice & quite.

Fast dependable start-up

Placed into service July 22, 2025. Works perfectly. Easy to move with telescopic handle. Great fuel economy and very quiet!

Great
