Ratings & Reviews for Westinghouse iGen5000c Remote Electric Start 5000 Starting / 3900 Running Watt Gasoline Single Fuel Inverter Generator

I have just bought this Generator, so far I have only test run it. but everything seems do be just fine. My brother bought the same model 3 years ago and says he was glad he did. So far I am happy with what I have seen. with the exception of the drain plug placement, the oil will run all over the frame. suggestion, maybe a 90* with a shut off aimed toward the hole that you have in the frame. thank you.

GREAT

EASY PROCESS AND LOVE THE REMOTE CONTROL FEATURE

Great purchase

I am very happy with my purchase, the ease of use is awesome. It is very quiet for a generator.

Purchased 9 months ago and does what it's supposed to do.

Super quiet generator

Great generator, super quiet and powers everything in our toyhauler easily.

Printed Manuals and quality information

Bought for a family camping trip to use with my 5th Wheel. Worked just as advertised and didnt have any problems with AC units. I also appreciated the printed out instructions, manuals, and parts catalog.

Solid well built generator

Easy to unpack with good instructions. Came with oil and spout which was easy to use and did not make a mess putting the oil in. All the parts were with the machine and setup was easy. Started easy and ran well- have not used it enough to comment on how it will power the things we need in a power outage. Seems well made and easy to move around. We were without power for a few days before we bought this and my wife is excited we have a backup generator now.

Quality materials used in a well built machine.

I bought this last week in anticipation of a really bad winter due to an extremely bad El Nino. I spent many nights pouring over different generators from different manufacturers. After finding my homes power needs in case of a prolonged power outage `I found the Westinghouse 5000 Watt inverter generator fit my needs to a tee. After recieving and un-packing my generator today I was extremely happy with the quality of build and the materials used in building. The features are easy to access and to...

Easy to Use

Just like my research--simple, easy to use and high quality

Compact and Quiet

I purchased about a month ago. Started up right away and easy to use. The push button start is really nice. Any age can operate easily.

Love it!

Works perfect! Love having the electric remote start option.

Works Great!

We bought this 1+ month ago for our camper for the weekend for our daughter to run the AC and nap during the afternoon and sleeper early evening, it has been great to date, the wheels are very helpful in moving

Not From Lowes

When I placed the order the estimated arrival date was 8/15/26, a Saturday. Being without power in Michigan because my generator broke down I ordered for the earliest possible delivery. Turns out, the generator ships from Georgia, something Lowe's must be aware of, and it will not arrive until the 18th, if it arrives on the new estimated time. Today, the 16th it still sits in a FedEx facility in GA.

Please work on dipstick. Differcult to install and oil will leak if not properly installed. Poor quality. Thank You!

Great generator

Bought it a couple weeks ago and just got it running today. Nice and quiet, remote start is a great feature. I also like the extension handle and wheels for easy movement.

like the features so far

I just bought it today, so my review so far is that it is easy to setup so far. Oil and gas where easy to fill up, just making so it not over filled and now I'm off to the store to get some gas not enough.

Horrible

Doesn’t work. Got this one because it is rated for much more than we need and it barely starts and when it does it trips. Don’t waste your money, spend a bit more and get the Honda.
