Ratings & Reviews for Westinghouse iGen5000c Remote Electric Start 5000 Starting / 3900 Running Watt Gasoline Single Fuel Inverter Generator

Great product

Starts right up after adding oil and fuel. Can’t wait to use it in the woods.

Amazingly quiet!

I have owned three generators and this one is by far the easiest to start and it’s SO quiet!

Power Outage St. Louis MO March 2025

Hi, Several years ago, I purchased a Westinghouse i4500 dual fuel generator. I think I purchased it at Lowe’s. Also, several years ago I had a new HVAC system installed in my home. At the time of installation, I had the HVAC company install a single transfer switch on the furnace so I could easily connect the generator to the furnace if I had to connect the generator for heat during a long power outage. Well, we finally had a power outage this past weekend that lasted 48 hours in the St. Lou...

Added oil and fuel fires right up no issues super quiet love it so far

It’s a heavy duty ítem

I get this a couple of years ago and still working like new

Trying to return this and unable to process online

Frustrating experience getting this delivered by FedEx. Shipped directly from Westinghouse. It took 8 days after the generator arrived in town to make it to my house. The box is very damaged with a particular rip on the side and crushed on the other.

Versatile

The generator is versatile because it can be fueled with gasoline or propane.

great generator

everything was great

Easy to move, well built

Purchased at 11am and Lost power two hours later to bad I didn’t order it sooner.

Perfect for camping!

It's the perfect size for camping, and is nice and quiet. The user manual is very informative without having to go online to get more than a "quick start". Love it!

Lifesaver for someone with Multiple Sclerosis

I purchased this to have an easier starting generator and I have to say it was a great purchase. It is quiet running for a generator, that quick start with key fob is excellent seeing as though I have MS and have a hard time with a regular pull start generator. It was one if the best buys I coukd have ever made

Perfect Generator

I bought this last week when we lost power. Generator was very easy to setup and started right up with no problems. It is very quiet and big enough to power all the critical circuits in our house.

Great value!

I bought this generator for emergency use and it’s already came in clutch. Setup was smooth and I love the remote start option.

Quality Product

I have owned other generators that worked fine for their intended use. They did not have remote start and one was extremely loud. I have purchased a larger fifth wheel RV & needed a inverter generator that has sufficient wattage to run the air conditioner and other electrical appliances. Two of my friends have the Westinghouse iGen 5000C inverter generators, which are quiet and able to supply the required wattage to run everything in their trailers. These features plus the remote start, the reli...
