Ratings & Reviews for Westinghouse iGen5000c Remote Electric Start 5000 Starting / 3900 Running Watt Gasoline Single Fuel Inverter Generator

Solid, Portable

Bought this for a coming winter storm, as well as for camping purposes. Plenty of power for what I need while still being portable.

Great generator for home use.

Bought this generator back in July and they made it so easy to set up with great directions. Started right up with no issues so far. Very happy with this generator purchase

Lowes is AWESOME

Great price

Nice Generator

Very quiet and came in handy during power outages.

Nice Generator

Nice features for a nice price. Good generator and like the remote start

Great Features!

Wife and I was looking for a quiet generator that powered the appliances we needed in case of an outage. Neighbor has one so we decided to buy one based off experience I have seen

No food on propane

Purchased a Westinghouse dual fuel for camping 18 months ago. Will not start on propane. Westinghouse won’t support it and the very reputable small-engine shop has t been able to fix it. Go solar.

So far so good!

I just bought it yesterday and filled the oil reservoir (oil included) today, put fuel in it and started it right up.

Not sure if I would buy another

Bought in July 2025 and no longer working. Started leaking lots of gas.

Good generator, well designed

The CO sensor is way too sensitive. Gen keeps shutting down unless you have a fan to blow exhaust away or it is windy.

It comes with everything you need

The manual is comprehensive, including instructions on how to check and adjust valve clearance. It even comes with a bottle of oil.

Excellent and easy to set up and start

It was easy to set up and start the first time. It was a little tight getting the battery hooked up, the access panel for the battery could be a little larger. Runs great and is quitter than i expected it to be.

Awesome Generator

Well built and surprisingly quiet for its size. Has remote start which is a great added feature and worth the few extra dollars.

Great thing)

Good! This thing works very well I like it it's very quiet

Start and go!

Easy start up steps and ran wonderfully for the 12 hour initial run. Very happy with the digital display information and remote start was very helpful since it rained almost the entire time we were camping.

Never Received Cover Promised Like Other Folks

Never received the cover as promised that you would get when you purchased this item. Called them several times. Also, one side cover never fit right would not send that, now it isn't running and can't get no one to call back about warranty.
