Ratings & Reviews for Westinghouse iGen5000c Remote Electric Start 5000 Starting / 3900 Running Watt Gasoline Single Fuel Inverter Generator

iGen Series Proven to be Reliable Performers

This is our second iGen inverter generator. The one we installed in our RV in 2021 has performed flawlessly. We bought a second unit for the house. Love the compact size, quite operation, clean power, & remote start.

Very quiet

Just purchased the generator but it is quiet and that was important. I like the long handle which helps moving alot easier . It runs great while running the air conditioner in a 25 ft fifth wheel.

Best for the money

Haven’t used much yet but everything looked good out of the box. Looked at a lot of brands but this one had the best fuel capacity/run time

Great product

Start up was simple and instructions are easy to understand. So far so good!

Very Compact and Powerful

Great inverter for the money, super compact and light weight!

Quiet

Very Quiet. Easy start button. Easy to move and store.

Nice running quiet generator

Great product so far other than changing oil. Very difficult location to work on and keep from getting excess oil in bottom of unit.

Flawless operation, Quiet and great Features

this started up the first time has ran great for hours. I love the handle that allows you to tow it to different locations. Makes it super convenient for one person to move, anyone that’s got an RV or even running your home utilities - This is a great plus. Very quiet operation - love it.

Quality

Just bought the generator. when unboxing at home, the battery cover was not in place and loose in the package. the battery hold down rubber was broken into two peices and the battery was half way out of the generator when i removed the generator from the plastic. currently contacting westinghouse to see about getting a battery hold down. Passed that, this generator is quiet, easy to start both on pull start and electric start. love the remote feature. family memeber has the same generator and it...

The Neighbors are Jealous

I picked up the iGen5000c generator thinking it would sound like a lawnmower wrestling a bear. Instead? Whisper quiet. I’m talking ninja-sneaking-through-your-backyard quiet. The first time I turned it on, I actually thought it wasn’t working until I noticed my fridge humming and my coffee maker kicking in like nothing happened. Pros: • Starts faster than my car on a cold morning. • Powers my fridge, lights, WiFi router, and existential crisis lamp without breaking a sweat. • Quiet e...

Great Generator

Super quiet and well made. Love the telescopic carrying handle.

Worked great right out of the box

Bought this to replace a smaller one so I could run the AC in my camper. Filled up the oil, gas, hooked up the battery and away it went. Pushed the start button and it worked perfect.

Haven't used yet

Alot lighter than my other and much quieter. I will be purchasing another for a rental.
