Ratings & Reviews for VIKIO 30 inch Ducted 980-CFM Stainless steel Under Cabinet Range Hood

30-in Ducted 980-CFM Stainless Steel Under Cabinet

This range hood is exceptionally lightweight and sleek, exuding an upscale appearance despite its affordable price point. Its remarkable lightness allows for effortless lifting with a single hand, which is advantageous considering the limited weight capacity of the wall mount. The stainless steel finish is aesthetically pleasing, and the product is packaged attractively with comprehensive instructions. Notably, the hood operates quietly, and the buttons are conveniently located and easily access...

Easy install, quiet, motion controls! Buy it!

Needed a 30” wide range exhaust to replace my old one and this one is solid and quiet and it has 2 large metal fans in the inside. The template that comes with it is a life saver and makes install very easy! I like how this one has filters that you can clean and wipe down which is nice. Install took about 1 hr start to finish. I would recommend buying metal tape to seal off the ducting and buying a long 12” drill bit extension so you can screw in the screw in the hard to reach spots. Overall fun...

Great range hood I really love!

Beautiful look, heavy duty industrial steel with a modern, sleek look. It is easy to operate. The fan is quiet, but increases noise with the highest setting. The range hood is very heavy, but not hard to install it. I am pleased with its appearance, lighting features, and suction power.

Modern and sleek powerful hood range!

This is a really powerful range hood. I was really happy with the sleek design and modern look. It is 30 inch and sadly I wasn’t able to modify my cabinet and so I am blessing my Aunt’s house with this purchase. This was another well packaged Lowe’s product and so it arrived via shipping in perfect condition!! Check out my pics.

Sleek

This range hood changed the entire vibe of my daughters kitchen. It is super powerful and on the highest setting it clears out smoke and steam in seconds. She loves that it has three speed options so she doesn’t always have to blast it. Filters are easy to clean and the LED light is just the right brightness. It is also surprisingly quiet for how strong it runs, which is huge. Would recommend if you cook often. Super sturdy and extremely well built super easy to install I removed her old out dat...

Beautiful and powerful under cabinet Range Hood

This Vikio 30-inch professional range hood looks amazing. The thick and smooth stainless-steel finish is fantastic. There is so much to like about this range hood; the powerful dual motors will easily remove heavy smoke, grease and odors of any kitchen. Adjustable speed lets you chose the level of suction. The easy to remove stainless steel baffles are dishwasher safe. I really like the digital panel and especially the hands-free option. The LED lighting is a plus. Installation is not difficult,...

High Quality - Easy to Install

The Vikio Stainless Steel Range hood is beautiful, has filters that are dishwasher-safe and comes with all of the templates to help with your installation. It was well packaged. What I like most about this product is that it moves nearly 1000CFM of air!

Attractive, Quiet, Heavy Duty Range Hood

I love this Hood Range. The problem now is after removing my old hood fan and seeing the shuddy work done by my original contractors, I realize that this heavy duty Range Hood would require a bit more of a major remodel in order to install this item. :( Can't wait...maybe next year.

Good Hood

Does exactly what it's supposed to do. There are three fan settings, and excellent light from two LED bulbs. It has two fans that are very strong. There is an optional gesture function that works for the fan; it doesn't control the light. I find it to be pretty reliable, but not completely. You definitely need two people or a jack to install it. It comes with a template to mark holes for the four screws that hold it to the shelf above, but I found that unhelpful; had to hold it up there and put...

The right choice! Elegant and modern

Really research what you want for replacement /new oven hood and you will find over and over Vikio is your right choice. Elegant, clean and modern. Great install/instructions we’ve purchased two, one for us and one for my mom’s house. Great buy, great product.

Gorgeous

Gorgeous, classy design. It comes across as high-end and fits the bill nicely. It is very well packed as well, with multiple layers of protection and padding. Install is rough if you’ve never done it, but manageable.

Pretty Good for the price

Nice upgrade to an old range hood that needed replacing. Sleek design to match the other stainless appliance in the kitchen or getting installed soon at an affordable price. Feels nice and works well. Easy to understand and all of the buttons make sense. Intuitive operation. Sucking power and fans worked great. Was a perfect replacement fit under the cabinet. Installation was relatively straight forward. Instructions aren’t great but since it was replacing the old one it was simply securing it ...

Modern upgrade.

I needed a range hood that had more suction than my over the range microwave fan. This unit has three fan speeds and it’s a lot quieter than the microwave fan. I like sleek modern design with the rounded edges. The wave sensor is a great idea and nice to have especially in the middle of cooking. The lights illuminate the stove area and counter flawlessly. The stainless filters are easy to remove and the best part is that they are dishwasher safe. The range completely transformed my kitchen by ma...

Really nice unit

This thing is awesome. I didn’t think I wanted to go away from my old simple oven fan with a mechanical switch to a fancy touchpad. But this, with the motion sensing, is grand. Even my toddler was running it and had it figured out while I was running it through tests before install. The 3 fan modes are a nice option, and the lights are nice and bright. Having the 2 lights spread out is a nice improvement. This vent has plenty of sucking power. I don't have any equipment at home to say if it real...

Great low profile vent for 4 burner range

Was looking for a nice and sleek hood for a smaller range and this one certainly fits the bill. The low profile aesthetics truly give a modern and sophisticated appearance. The ventilation is powerful and and at high speed it really pulls a lot of air. The flush installed lights are a plus, and while a 3rd light would have been nice they are still very bright. There is a hands free option that is fairly easy to use and allows to increase or decrease the speed of the vent; not sure how much i ...

Careful, don't buy appliances from Lowes.

Sleazy 48 hour return policy, even for unopened boxes, not special order. PC Richard is safer.

Under cabinet hood ventilation

Easy access with a wave of my hand and powerful CFM suction
