Ratings & Reviews for VIKIO 30 inch Ducted 980-CFM Stainless steel Under Cabinet Range Hood

Solid, fabulous fan.

A bit too heavy for our crummy hood cabinet, so Lowe's installer added a slender piece of wood to inside L/R to secure it. Nice and solid!

Beautiful Range hood

Not only is this Range hood beautiful but it’s super easy to install. I love the handsfree feature to turn it off and on. The motor is powerful and does a really good job clearing out the smoke. Lights are bright. Well made and will be easy to clean.

Great design, quiet and good quality!

The lights are good and bright, the fan is quieter than the one we had previously. It is a bit tricky to install, says my husband who is a very handy person. The grates can pop into the dishwasher for cleaning.

Nice Stove Hood

Arrived quickly and well packaged. Came with everything expected. The fan is very quiet but powerful. The look of the stainless steel is perfect and looks great.

Looks great!

Gorgeous range fan! The finish is great and doesnt get fingerprints on it too bad. The filters are very easy to replace! This is NOT a cheap-o $79 fan. Very happy with it.

Really nice vent fan with a nice finish.

This is a really nice kitchen vent hood. It was very well packaged. And I like that it comes with a pattern for the mounting process. The finish is really nice and it seems like a fairly simple install. It will be a really nice look for your kitchen. I'm excited to see it installed. I would highly recommend this fan.

Modern and efficient

This under cabinet range is amazing. It was well packaged. The installation instructions are easy to read. The motion sensor feature was a bonus. It is a little heavy.

Great looking, easy to install exhaust fan.

This is a strong, powerful, built into cabinet exhaust fan. Exactly what is needed to take smells, exhaust heat, smoke, and everything else out of the kitchen. PROS: Strong single fan system that pulls decent airflow. Everything is included to install with no leaks. Really like the gasket provided to attach the adapter Instructions are clear and easy to follow. In line carbon filters are a great unexpected add on. CONS: There is a slight rattle when in “high” mode for the fan. A small piec...

Effective smoke reduction without so much noise

Reduces smoke and odors without as much noise as our other cheaper range hood. The sones level is much more reasonable and the smoke reduction much more effective. Highly recommend, especially for the price point. This does require an outlet to plug into so we had to have one installed in the cabinet above the range.

For top vent only setups

Well packaged but hard to remove from packaging. Took 2 of us to get it out of the box. Which is ok bc it took 2 to install. Good installation instructions, looks fairly easy. My challenge is I didn’t realize it was a top vent but my kitchen setup is a back vent only, so unfortunately it’s not going to work for me. Be advised you cannot use this with an over-range microwave, for the same reason. I wish I had a top vent because it appears well made and high quality

Beats the old microhood!

Microhood died and talked the Frau into a real exhaust hood. Wanted one with powerful fans that fits in our space and this one is great. Smoke alarm used to go off all the time everytime someone fried burgers but it has not gone off since we installed the Vikio!

Game changer for heavy cooking

I'm thoroughly impressed with this Stainless Steel Range Hood—it's a total game-changer! After struggling with my old microwave's weak ventilation and constantly scrubbing grease stains, I can't wait to see how this powerful hood transforms my kitchen. With its 4-speed settings, I know it'll effortlessly clear out smoke, steam, and grease, keeping my space fresh and residue-free. I love the sleek stainless steel look and the adjustable LED lights that will brighten up my cooktop perfectly. I’m t...

Quality range hood

The Vikio range hood was easy to install. It is high quality. I like that it comes with everything you need to install it. It comes with a power cord that you can plug in. The instructions are easy to follow. The lights are bright. The fans are powerful and quiet. The filters are reusable and washable.

Range hood.

This Range hood is nice and sturdy, a little heavier than the other ones. So be sure to have the appropriate stuff to hang it. It’s very sleek and the suction on this great. It has a very professional kitchen look.

Industrial

This 30in duct is awesome! Its heavy duty quality. It definitely can be used for a small industrial kitchen. It has two huge fan and two bright LED lights. This vent might even work on a small food truck. Very powerful.

New fan

Modern design and works great. Easy install and looks great. I thought I would have trouble on install since I never did something like this before but the directions and instructions were helpful and easier than I expected. Very happy

Well built, powerful, and easy to install

This is the second one of these I've installed. Once I lined it up, it was very straight forward to install and hook up. It runs well, It is quiet but powerful enough to move a lot of air out of the kitchen. I'm not sure how much grease will be trapped in the filters are the openings seem fairly large. Time will tell.

Great looking range hood

Beautiful range duct! great build quality and nice seems all around. strong exhaust fan and it has a nice cardboard template to place on the wall to cut your duct work more easily.

Easy to install and quiet fan

Super quiet fan, very easy to install.Clean sleek design user friendly installation. I would definitely recommend for a DIYer due to ease of installation.

Love the sleek look of this bad boy

Seriously impressed with this range hood. My old one was useless, but this stainless steel beast actually works. No more lingering food smells hanging around the house, which is a huge win. Putting it under the cabinet wasn't a nightmare either, which I was expecting. And the stainless steel cleans up with just a quick wipe. Yeah, when you crank it all the way up, it's not exactly quiet, but honestly, for how well it clears the air, I don't even care. The lower settings are fine for most of my c...
