Ratings & Reviews for VIKIO 30 inch Ducted 980-CFM Stainless steel Under Cabinet Range Hood

48 hour return policy scam

Do yourself a favor and do not buy any appliance from Lowes. They have 48 hour return policy. I bought wrong size, didnt even remove from box, and now I am out $350. Avoid.

Improved venting for cooking

This vent only unit replaced my over the range microwave/vent combo whose venting I found to be inadequate for my uses (only 400 CFM vs 980 CFM for its replacement). So far its seems to match my expectations with improved venting, especially when frying foods. Only slight issue occured during installation where access to top rear mounting holes was not possible, so used lower back mounting holes to secure rear of unit. Noise of unit at full power is fairly high (likely somewhat influenced by ...

It’s much better than name brand products❗️

It’s amazing I bought this product 980-Cfm with less than $300 from Lowe’s❗️Bright led light and quiet sound of fan❗️

Strong suction. Sleek and Modern looking

The sleek steel and modern design fits perfectly in my kitchen!! The lights are very bright, that they are actually useful!! The strong suction works quickly to remove bad cooking odors and smoke. You will need more than one person to help install this vent... it is heavy!! I am loving this over the range hood smart vent..... I would highly recommend it!!

Modern

Very modern and stylish. Motion activated. Easy to install and looks very stylish. Will definitely make lots of use out of this vent a hood. Quality aeems good.

Hands free operation vented hood

Was impressed by the built metal fans (2). With that was straight forward installing hood. As you see the dual LED lights illuminates the stove top very well. The option to swipe your hand is nice feature to add the the overall value.

Awesome!!!

I’m pleased with the performance of this product

Excellent Upgrade!

The VIKIO 30-in Ducted 980-CFM Stainless Steel Under Cabinet Range Hood is a major upgrade from our builder grade ductless range hood. Pros: Extremely Powerful Fans Touchless Controls Sleek, modern styling Straight forward install guide Flexible ducting options Cooking odors were successfully exhausted Low and middle fan speeds aren't loud (63, 77, 80 decibels per my watch at eye level). Cons: Holds fingerprints easily, which is mitigated by the touchless controls Install template did not wor...

Professional quality hood at a value price

This range hood would be a good choice for home chefs seeking powerful ventilation and a sleek stainless steel design. Its performance and features are on par with much more expensive units, though it does come with a couple of considerations. Pros: 1. High Ventilation Power: With a 980-CFM motor, this range hood provides exceptional airflow for its size. 2. Durable Stainless Steel Design: The hood is built with high-quality stainless steel, making it not only aesthetically pleasing but also...

Works great!!

Works great! I especially love the hand gestures. The touch-free functionality is incredibly convenient. Simply wave your hand to turn it on, adjust the fan speed, or turn on the lights. This feature is especially handy when your hands are messy from cooking. The fan does a great job of removing smoke, steam, and odors, even on the lowest settings. It’s also surprisingly quiet for such a powerful appliance. Highly recommend!

Hi-tech Design

This hood vent has an awesome hi-tech design. We like the "industrial" look and the front panel controls. It was easy to install and looks great. It was a certain upgrade to our kitchen. I'd recommend this vent hood.

Like it a lot, very helpful

Very nice looking range hood fan, a little smaller than the 30 inch size, comes with a template that aides in a quick and easy install. Having worked in restaurants before I Really like that it is built like a commercial unit with solid metal grates that can be removed and put in the dishwasher. The gesture mode helps if your hands get messy or full while cooking. Over all good product. Would recommend.

Not a good option for venting out the back vs top

Replaced a vent the exact same size and shape. I already had the hole for the exhaust through the wall venting out the back vs the top. The instructions barely address a rear vent installation so you are really on your own. If you don’t have a decent amount of experience with construction and electrical issues this will be a bad choice for you. The instructions do not really address closing up the hole on the top, dealing with the large electrical cord on the back, re arranging that cord on ...

Awesome stove fan!

This is an awsome stove fan light assembly. Connecting it to power is a snap as it has a coreded end already installed. The fan is powerful and the lights are bright.

Stainless Steel Under Cabinet Range Hood. Quiet.

My husband and I were able to install this ourselves. It is so easy, which was perfect for my kitchen area. i highly recommend this to anyone. you will be pleased. i will be enclosing pictures later. replacing my camera right now.

Powerful Ventilation

Needed a new over-the-range hood in our shared lake house and decided to get this one. Wow! It overdelivered on our expectations! The exhaust fan is so powerful on high that we can fry fish inside during inclement weather and not have to worry about the smell or greasy smoke. The light is awesome and adjustable.
