Great product
Would RecommendCompared to the railing, the stair railing is definitely more difficult to install. Would definitely need a miter saw and at least 4 clamps if installing alone. We completed it with two people so we did not need quite as many clamps to hold it up. Overall, nice product and instructions we generally simple, the difficulty is installing on the slope of the stair and cutting at correct angle.

Not a project for inexperienced carpenters
Would Not RecommendWe bought the stair rail kit because it was attractive looking with the already installed trex deck. The instructions were over-simplified and not meant for a novice, using terminology that was confusing. Also, the included screws were flimsy aluminum screws that stripped out easily and bent easily. Stainless steel screws would be better.

Very nice 6 ft option, wish there was 8 ft though
Would RecommendVery nice option for “basic” deck stair railing. This was actually the look we wanted, so the kit was perfect and cheaper than other options (due to the single design option). Happy, would buy again if needed, wish the kit came in 8 ft option though.
