[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We got this sample size of the the TREX wood decking to see if we liked the color. It is a nice size, much bigger than you would expect. Great to see the color and the textures.

Trex saddle

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] TREX Enhance flooring is a beautiful investment. These boards do not rot, warp or splinter. The color is rich. Bugs won't chew on them. And they are made of 95%recycled materials.

Great color, well made product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We recently replaced our deck and were looking to use Trex for the top rail just to avoid splinters from wood and give us a place to set things that's more smooth and level. The hardest part is finding the right color. This color will work very well and it was nice to have a sample size to test rather than spending the money on a whole board. Overall very pleased with this.

Good for straight forward decks.

The solid color looks like the board have been painted but the wood grain texture mimic’s natural wood. The board features ribbing on the underside which is undetectable in most cases. The ribbing cuts the weight of this product while still providing strength. Unlike a solid board, you need to figure out a few design details in order to keep the ribbing covered. ...

Beautiful & Durable

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] At first sight, I knew this product was the one for us. We wanted a heavyweight faux decking material that not only looks good but stands the test of time. The saddle color is very dark and rich which yells "no need for staining and waterproofing" real wood decking. I am confident we will enjoy our maintenance-free deck for many years to come.

Rich color

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We are planning on using a composite material for our new deck and selected this color hoping it would look rich and a deep color and it is!!!! There are many colors to choose from and this one is exactly what we want! The only reason for the 4 stars is I am not sure about the underside of the board. It seems there is less material than other brands but that may be the new industry standard.

Great product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this product. It has the light weight of wood but the durability of composite. The color is stunning and the feel of the sample is wonderful. No worries about going outside in bare feet. Cleaning this is easy, just soap and water. I am so impressed with Trex that I am going to redo my back deck using this product.

It's alright

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Received my Enhance 1 ft Sample - Saddle a little while back. It's great for outdoor projects in my opinion like for covered porches but I wouldn't use it in my house. In very picky on texture. But I would still recommend to my friends and family.

Trex 1ft Sample

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have actually been checking into having a deck put on our house and this sample was just what we needed. the color is perfect and it seems to be a very sturdy material. Living in the Midwest where the weather is ever changing, we need something that will withstand whatever Mother Nature throws at us and we think this is the right stuff. I think we are going to have a new deck soon using this material.

Love the color

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First of all, let me just say how sturdy this is and how strong it feels. Since receiving this as a sample, my husband and I now are looking into getting our deck renewed with this color and material. As for the sample piece I received, I made a key holder out of it instead of throwing it away.

Excellent Upgrade for Existing Deck

We have two decks, both built about 20 years ago. The framing is solid, but the decking was in very bad shape on both decks. We tried extending the life with paint. They needed new paint every year. the deck was just under 16 feet with one small area just under 8 feet wide. The 16 foot length would work and there would be no butt joints. This avoids one issue of having to scab boards on either side of every butt joint so the fasteners are not too close to the end. We considered putting a c...

They are great but....

I was using 8’ and 12’ boards for my 20’ ft wide deck. The 8’ and the 12’ aren’t quite the same size. The 12’ is just slightly higher than the 8, and the 8 is just slightly wider than the 12. This wasn’t just on a couple of boards, it was all of the,. Can’t get a perfect seam but it’s darn close. I can tell because I know they don’t quite match up, but others will probably not notice it, unless they are really inspecting the deck. Yes, I do recommend these boards. Just don’t use an 8’ and...

Looks amazing!

We are very happy with our new decking, it looks great, especially with the hidden fasteners. It is very hot in the sun (too hot for bare feet!) but it is so nice to not ever have to worry about resurfacing it! Definitely worth it!
