My husband bought these to use to add hand rails to our porch steps. Due to the weather, he has only been able to get one post up, but the anchors seem to be holding quite well.

Overpriced

These fasteners are overpriced and provide inaccurate guidelines. The bit should be one size smaller then what the packaging states, otherwise the fastener will not hold. Lowes seems to always be out of stock on the most popular sizes.

A little weak

In hindsight I should have bought 1/4 or larger. One of these broke in concrete for seemingly no reason. I had to drill all new holes. They also can strip in the concrete pretty easy. With that said they seem to work well if you did everything correctly. Buy the right set of these and take care and they should work.

Great screws for hanging good to concrete

Easy to drill and attach a French cleat for hanging anything on a con rete wall.

These screws worked well for my project in securing a wall against cement blocks!

Hard to keep drill bit in head (driving in brick)

Ideally these screws would have a Phillips head. It’s tough to drive with a Standard slot head.

Does exactly what it’s supposed to do as long as you drill the hole to the recommended size. Much better than plastic anchors

The drilling was about as difficult as I expected. It went better on high speed rather than low speed, which surprised me. But the screws went in easily and held well.
