What Customers Are Saying

The product has mixed performance. Some users report the anchors work well and are easy to install, but many others experienced issues with the anchors breaking or stripping the concrete, especially under higher torque or resistance during installation. The quality and durability appear inconsistent, with some users reporting a high failure rate. Recommendations include using a hammer drill and longer drill bit, and avoiding overtightening the screws. The product may be suitable for light-duty applications but may lack the strength and reliability needed for heavier-duty projects.

works great cost but too much anywhere you buy it

Would Recommend

This included the correct size masonry bit for the anchor and held firmly - so worked great but no matter where I looked at these you would think they had gold in them by the price hence 3 stars. Great product but the poor price - I think the price comes high from the manufacturer because it was high at all stores I looked at. Measure where you want it - drill the hole - then screw it in - it is that simple.

Breaks every time

Would Not Recommend

These smaller screws are not very strong and broke off every time I tried to screw them down. I'd recommend going with the larger diameter screws even for light duty jobs.

Fail When Subjected to Sheer Stresses

Would Not Recommend

I've been using these for several years (multiple diameters, multiple lengths) and have experienced a high failure rate when subjected to greater than mild torque when installing. During installation (after properly hammer drilling and vacuuming out holes) whenever you encounter even the mildest of resistance requiring added torque being applied to the screw, more often than not the screw heads will shear off. Those that don't fail hold as advertised regarding clamping force but have very lim...

Horrible wuality

Would Not Recommend

I had nothing but trouble with these. Out of 16 that I need to use, I was only able to get 3 in properly. I don't know what I did wrong. I used a jig for my hammer drill to ensure a straight hole, I drilled over 1/2 inch deeper than the screw (the instructions suggest only 1/4"), and I tried numerous methods to screw them in with (regular drill, impact drill, and even by hand). I also sucked out the dust with a Shop Vac. About half snapped in the hole. Some stripped the head. And the rest...

nice coating for weather resistance, but not high

Would Not Recommend

Predrilling is a must, but the provided drill bit does not last long and dulls with only 8 uses. The screws will snap and break with high torque. Low quality. Although these screws do snap with correct torque and install they are not bad. Screws in my opinion should not break as easily thats why its deserves a low rating.

Get a longer bit

Would Recommend

The screws themselves are fine, but, the bit included in the box is too short if you are using it to attach 2x4's. We had issues with the screws breaking until we went to a longer bit and increased the depth of our hole by another 1/4". After that, everything was perfect.

You have to use a HAMMER DRILL

Would Recommend

I bought these to install some non-bearing stud walls in my basement. I didn't realize at the time of purchase that I couldn't use my regular corded drill, even though I had just bought a newer, more powerful one. If you are having problems with getting the hole drilled with the provided bit, it is probably because you are not following teh instructions! You have to use a HAMMER DRILL!!! I struggled with the first hole for almost an hour, thinking I could make it work with my regular drill. I pi...

Not Good

Would Not Recommend

Drilled 4 holes in a poured concrete wall. Barely got the 4th hole drilled and the bit was shot. 3 of the screws broke as I was driving them in, and the only reason that the 4th one didn't break is because I just didn't use it. Waste of money, waste of time.
