What Customers Are Saying
The product has mixed performance. Some users report the anchors work well and are easy to install, but many others experienced issues with the anchors breaking or stripping the concrete, especially under higher torque or resistance during installation. The quality and durability appear inconsistent, with some users reporting a high failure rate. Recommendations include using a hammer drill and longer drill bit, and avoiding overtightening the screws. The product may be suitable for light-duty applications but may lack the strength and reliability needed for heavier-duty projects.

Would Not RecommendThe included drill bit made the hole too big and the screws were not tight. This was in spite of the hole being sized at least 1/4" larger than the screw. I would not use them again.

Had to return this item.
Would Not RecommendThis product is a good idea but the screws need more strength. They may work well in masonry. I drilled four holes in my concrete slab and broke four screws off. They break just above the threads. Use caution if you choose to use these and try one in an inconspicuous place to make sure they will do what you need.

Great product
Would RecommendI used these to install 1 -in x 8-ft x 4-ft Extruded Polystyrene Insulated Sheathing. I attached the panels to cinder blocks and they worked great.

Easy to use and strong
Would RecommendI've used Tapcon Concrete screws (and other brands) to do multiple projects. Everything from mounting electrical boxes to mounting heavy duty shelves right to the wall. I would say, 95% of the time, these work perfectly. 5% of the time I have run into issues with torqueing the head off of them and stripping the concrete out. I would say most of those were user error though... The only other issue I have really ever had was with concrete block. Every once in a while it would strip out. All in all...
junk
Would Not Recommendbought these and the tapcom drill for them. hole stripped out before screw was tight. do yourself a favor and use expandable anchors.
