Not what I expected
Would Not RecommendI unpacked this mailbox to find a very inferior product. New out of the box it was scratched and the seems were very crude. There were no finished edges. Very poor workmanship and no quality control at the factory. Iy went right back to Lowe's for a refund. Don't wast your time.
Better than expected
Would RecommendThe box is bigger than I expected which is a plus. It is made of thick plastic and appears to be super sturdy. I have not put it in the ground yet but I believe it will last us for years to come. I also love that it open on both ends for easy access to our mail and the paper slot also has a door on one side. I would buy again and I recommend this product.

Good mailbox for the price.
Would RecommendGood looking mailbox and not hard to put up. I did have to trim the opening at the upper part of the bottom section with a utility knife before the 4x4 would fit. If you’re putting in a new post, put the post into the mailbox and mark your post so you know how deep to dig your hole so it’ll sit flush with the ground and look right.
