I don't know how long this mailbox has been here, we moved here is 2015 and inherited it. It was it by a truck in the night and thought we had to buy a new one as the post part was gone. it was since found about a mile down the road "in one piece" even the 4x4 inside the post cover was ok,. The police said it must have been caught under the vehicle, even the ground post was still attached but very bent, just a small ding on both sides of the cover was visible from the impact (hit head on) Clean...

Excellent Value

Light weight and inexpensive. East to install - once the 4"x4" by 4' is planted. A half inch socket in important (could work with an open-end or box, needed to set 2 three inch bolts. Newspaper holder is a nice feature.

great product

Got this as a replacement for my moms mailbox after a neighbor backed into hers twice. They did offer to pay but her old metal box wasn't in the best of shape anyway. This one looks much better than the old box and paper box on the fully exposed 4x4 post.

Great product

Box works well and lasts years. This is my second box, first was destroyed by vandals.

So far so good

Hard to remove the old similar box and ended up cutting off the bolts that were salt rusted. Didn’t have enough numbers to put on both sides of the box. Easy install if you’re just replacing an old similar mailbox. Free ship to home.

Nice and easy

Easy to install. Do need a drill. Bought 1 2x4 and cut it in half to get 4ft pieces. Nailed them together. Digged a hole which was way easier and faster than one of those other options like a screw anchor. I did one of those and regretted it. Used one of those foam bags. Payed twice what I would pay for a bag of 50 pounds of concrete. However, it only weighs 1 pound, no water, and poured it in, held the post for 3 minutes and done. Definitely the way to go. Easy install

Very easy install and if my post was wood would have been easier...is a concrete 4x4 post. Was able to modify holes. The PLASTIC however seems to be very soft and we'll see how this looks in a couple years. It came out of the BOX scratched and hadn't notice until I was mounting to the post.

Replacing damaged same type mail box

Previous mail box was damaged by automobile beyond use. Replaced with same kind.

Just as easy as 1-2-3 with putting together & installing. Even on a 5 Deg day it was put together & installed with no issues!

leaks

Every time it rain mail is wet. Mailbox is level so that is not the problem. No holes in top. It appears water runs in thru door.

Very sturdy...well worth the money....low price for the quality
